Y/N POV
Making the round to the tower is my favorite thing to do. I grab my phone and headphones and start my journey. I live on my own because of my powers....and I snore but I like it.
I make it to the tower and knock on the door. When no one answers I sigh and let myself in. I hear mumbling so I walk towards it. It's coming from the kitchen
"Tony you gotta understand she's just a kid! She's not qualified enough for this job!!" Steve shouts
"Y/N is more than capable of this job Steve! She's well able to protect herself and I'm not letting you take this away from her"
"NO YOU KNOW WHAT IVE HAD IT! SHES DONE IM GETTING RID OF HER TONIGHT"
"Wh-what?" I ask with tears in my eyes
Steve's POV
"Wh-what?" A small voice asks
I look over and see it's Y/N.
The I realize she heard everything I said about her.
"Y/N I-
"No!!! No your not getting rid of me! I'm I'm useful give a couple weeks and I'll be just as good as Nat!!I know I'm young but I'm way wiser than most kids my age!! She tells me, her voice breaking in between.
"Y/N....im sorry you found out this way....but your fired"
"What?" She replies angrily
"Your fired"
"Your not fired Y/N listen to me-
She cuts tony off.
"DONT YOU GET IT!? YOU GUYS ARE THE ONLY FAMILY I HAVE AND IF YOU KICK ME OUT I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE FUCKING ORPHANAGE!!!"
She's an orphan?
"Y/N, what about your parents-
"If you read my fucking profile status that Fury gave you it specifically said that I was an orphan and that by joining the avengers I would be released from the orphange but now I guess I get to go back!! YAY!" She shouts sarcastically.
"Sorry Y/N-
"Goodbye guys and thanks Tony....for trying to stick up for me"
Then she turns to look at me
"And fuck you steve"
Y/N's POV
I rush out of the room and make my way to my old room I have when I stay over and pack everything there. Meanwhile someone comes in.
"Y/N? What are you doing?" Nat asks
"Steve doesn't w-want me here anymore s-so im leaving" I tell her sniffling.
"No! Your not leaving you stay here and I'll sort this out" she tells me with a sorrow look on her face.
"It's no use Nat, Tony's already tried, he won't listen and Steve wants me to go. I respect that"
I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her.
"Thanks for everything mama Nat" I whisper
"It's ok baby, your welcome here whenever you want I don't care about what Steve thinks" she tells me.
"Thanks, will you tell the others?" I ask
"Nope because your coming with me to tell them" she says as she grabs my hand and leads me too the sitting room where Buck, Clint, Bruce, Thor and Wanda are
"Hey Y/N! Come sit" Clint tells me
"Actually...Y/N has something to say" Nat pushes
Everyone looks at me confusingly.
"Um...Steve kicked me out so I came to say goodbye" I tell them puckering my lips.
"NOPE" Bruce shouts
Bruce is usually quite so I'm really surprised by this.
"Your not going anywhere" buck tells me
"Thanks but Steve made his mind up" I tell them
Clint open his arms and I walk towards him, I lean into him and he holds me. I don't cry though, I'm not gonna show Steve that I'm weak.
"Your staying here, at least till the end of the day" he tells me.
"Okay"
We sit on the couch and watch tv when the elevator dings and two figures step out. I don't even look to see who the second one was because I couldn't look at him right now.
Tony manages to spot my and leaves out a relieved sigh. I think he wants me to stay.
Unfortunately Steve spots me too.
"What are you still doing here?" He asks
"Steve shut the fuck up we're watching a movie" Bucky says
I smile at this.
"Your supposed to be gone home"
"Steve this is my home, the only other "home" I have is the orphanage and I'm not going back there" I tell him confidently
"We're not letting her go anywhere, your being insensitive Steve" Nat tells him.
He sighs and then leaves.
"Soooo what does that mean?" I ask
"Your staying and your moving in here" Tony tells me.
I smile
"Thanks guys"
"No bother"
"Anytime kid"
