Y/N's POV
There was an announcement today that there was father daughter dance tonight and that everyone had to attend. I for one DONT have a father so I usually don't show up to these things but they said I can bring my mom. Surprise! Don't have her either.
I sulk walking home and I'm kinda bummed out. All my friend were talking about their dads and their jobs while I just kinda sat there awkwardly.
I reach the compound and head up to my room. On the way up I hear Nat.
"Hey Y/N" she says pulling me in for a hug.
"Hey Nat"
"What's wrong you look upset?"
"It's nothing"
"Come on, you can tell me anything"
"Ok, well there's this dance on in my school and I have no one to go with me-
"I'LL GO!" She interrupts me.
I sigh
"I'd love if you could Nat but it's a father daughter dance and clearly I don't have one"
She looks as me sadly before getting an idea.
"You go have a shower, gets dressed and get ready for your dance while I sort something out" she says as she urges me to my room.
I laugh at this and decided to change into a nice flower dress and I wear some light makeup on my face with some fake eyelashes
"I wonder what Nat's on about?" I wonder.
I walk down the stairs ready for the dance and Nat is waiting. Her eyes grow ten times wider as she sees me.
"AWWW! Your so cute! Now let's get you to you dance!"
We go in to car to the dance, still confused as to what's happening. She drops me off and I head inside. I sit at the back of the hall where the dance is on and keep to myself. I sip on my water as I receive a sympathetic look from a teacher.
I smile back and wonder what's happening. Just as I think all hope is lost, a group of familiar superheroes burst through the door looking for me. My heart lights up. It's Tony, Steve, Clint and Bucky. I wave them over to where I am and they make their way towards me.
"Sorry we're late, we went to McDonalds but the queue was like 10 hours long and yea" Tony explains while bringing me in for a hug.
"All that matters is that your here now" I say
I get to dance with each of them and I had lots of fun.
I get not only one but 4 dads!!
I think that's pretty cool
