Y/N's POV
We are currently tracking a villian that won't show us his physical form but is willing to talk....but only to one of us. So now we're deciding who it's going to be
"I'll do it" Tony says
"No Tony you might have a panic attack again" Nat says
He pouts
"I'll do it" Nat says
"Absolutely not"
"What? Why?"
"Your a Russian spy nat you loose ur temper very quickly and we could do without an angry villian on our hands" Steve says
"What if I do it?" I perk up
All eyes go toward me, signalling for me to continue.
"This dude knows all of you but he doesn't know me and I've never met him before so I'm kinda your best bet" I tell them.
"She's smart" Bruce says
"Would that be ok Y/N?" Steve asks
"Yea of course"
Fast forward an hour later
Tony handed me some sort of classy headphones.
"These are what you'll be communicating through, so we don't hear what he says. Because he said he'd only talk if it was you. If at any point it becomes too extreme take off the headphones" he tells me
"I'll be fine tony don't worry" I say.
He pats me on my shoulder and leaves the room. I place the headphones on and I'm met with mumbling.
"Hello?" I ask
"Ah! If it isn't an avenger" a male voice says
"Yes it's one of them" I say rolling my eyes
"So...I suppose you want some information from me?" He says with a chuckle
"It would be appreciated" I say annoyed with his behaviour.
"Well...Y/N. I'm gonna let you in on my little plan on how I'm going to destroy the avengers. I'm going to first eliminate Captain America, if he doesn't have his shield he has nothing. Once he's dead I'll move onto Iron Man. Without his suit he's pointless, he'll be easy to kill. Then I'll get Hulk and Hawkeye and Black Widow and Thor and I'll leave you too suffer on your own!!"
"What a bunch of nonsense" I tell him
"Nonsense huh?"
"Tell me...are you sitting on the floor right now, blindfold over your eyes, black headphones on, wearing a black t-shirt and joggers and Nike shoes which look amazing by the way"
"Ok that's not funny how do you know that?" I say genuinely concerned.
"You have nice eyes Y/N, the blue matches the blonde hair you have"
"Shut up"
"I'm watching you Y/N and once I kill the avengers I'm going to torment you for the rest of your life. Would you like a preview?" He asks
"No"
"Too bad"
I'm met with the sounds of a woman screaming and ringing that stings my ears.
"Stop"
It doesn't stop
"Stop!" I say louder
"STOP IT"
"STOP MESSING WITH ME"
It cuts out and I'm left gasping for air.
"I'm coming for you Y/N. Sooner or later"
I didn't realise I was crying until i felt a tear run into my mouth. I'm met with the ringing sound again that physically hurts me and with that I rip the headphones off my head.
I take the blindfold off and gasp for air. At the same time Tony and Clint rush in and kneel beside me.
Tony's POV
Y/N starts screaming before she rips off the headphone and the blindfold I gave her to concentrate and covers her ears.
I look at Clint and we run in. I don't think she hears us.
"Y/N? Hey hey hey it's ok" I tilt her head up so she could see us and she looks at us wideyed
"What's got you so spooked?" Clint asks
"H-he's watching m-me"
I look at Clint worriedly and he meets my eyes.
