Her hair was flying in the air, her eyes were closed, and the breeze brushed against her blue skin. When the sun's rays struck her face, a brilliant smile spread across her head. When her friends tilted Rasmei's helicopter through the jungle, she chuckled a little showing how she felt happy to finally be out here. Chased its shadow through the trees while flying above a carpet of jungle, across high cliffs, and beyond mesas covered in clouds.Jake leaned near her through the open window, watching as her eyes widened when she saw the creatures in the air flew across from the forest into the air.She continued to grin as she turned to face him, pulling her hair back so that it wouldn't fly into his face. He was told to look at what she was pointing out to him, following his gaze to the position of her hand pointing.
She was a completely different person now, and Jake liked watching her grin. She was trying to reach him with her four fingers, trying to convince him to see what she was seeing, and he watched her tail wag with enthusiasm as her ears twitched down and then perked back up. While the forest unfolded underneath them and the wind blew their clothing around, Norm and Grace were on the opposite side of the window. Jake had gun strapped on his body, his feet propped on the skids, made sure to secure the woman in front of him while she was losing in her fantasies as if she was going to fall, he would catch her on time. It was because only a second earlier, she was so enthusiastic that she almost slipped her leg over the clothesline before being caught by his strong arm.
Trudy flew from a pressurized cockpit. She banked to follow a shallow river causing the spray of water to touch Rasmei once again while she let out a shriek of excitement. Everyone almost forgot that they have one of the soldiers following them too as Trooper Wainfleet, in exo-mask and body armor, leaned on his door gun, scanning for aerial predators which Grace pointed out earlier.
They then finally arrived at the place where Grace was supposed to have Trudy parked her rotor slowly, landed on the ground while Jake jumped off from the rail and pulled the door gun. Him and Wainfleet gripped into their guns tightly, secured the floor before having Rasmei, Grace and Norm.
Trudy gave Rasmei a sidelong glance as the Captain pulled off her jacket and flung it back into the chopper, but the pilot said nothing. As Grace instructed the other soldier to stay on to the chopper, the Captain strapped one of her knives to her shoulder. Rasmei then approached Jake, who was attentive in every direction as his ears twitched as he heard the rustling sound.
Her fingers touch the tip of his gun. ''Nothing going to attack us, lower this down.''
The green eyes staring at him and nodded for him to keep his gun down which he followed. To observe the line of trees around where they were standing, she moved passed him quick. Rasmei had no idea why, but she thought this was new. She may have never before set foot in a forest and has only ever seen the samples that Grace brought back to the lab. After three years of training, she got to experience this.
