What should be going smoothly like butter has been stopped completely as Jake, Grace, Norm and Rasmei were locked in the cell together. Silently, no one spoke anything else if it weren't for the Captain's chin on her knees, tapping her fingers on the floor.

A movement ago, she spoke until her throat dried up. It felt as if it wasn't going to change the fact that Selfridge couldn't do anything toward the military under Quaritch's control right now. They sat, staring in silence. Too weird to sleep, too emotionally drained to move.

Selfridge was hurt through the words that Rasmei had pressed on him earlier. How could he call himself a man with power but couldn't stop those people who were under his order? How could he just listen to the cries of those Na'vi people who were fighting for their life to flee away from the danger? How could he possibly stand still and watch the Army Force destroy the home? How would he react if someone snatched something that dear far from him? Did he even have a heart, ears and eyes? Humanity was never been like this before, people were the ones who destroyed their own world.

Rasmei pointed more, screaming right in front of the scientists, right in front of Jake, right in front of Grace, Norm and Max. She believed from Grace's word that Selfridge was not a truly bad guy, he was just in a situation where he was accountable to extremely powerful interests, and he has to balance all these problems and still achieve what he has been tasked with even though he didn't want there to be conflict.

Seeing him giving Jake and her a chance to link again was enough to make him saw the damage that the RDA has done to this beautiful place.

Everything that Rasmei spoke, she had observed already before she pushed the right button.

Parker Selfridge had the most stress because he was the leader of RDA's operations on Pandora. His morality was often downgraded by his commitment to the company he works for which stresses him out. It was why he kept justifying that they needed to take down the "savage" Na'vi to retrieve Unobtanium. For a wealthy guy, Parker spent most of his RDA life on Pandora since Day 1 and there was no record of him swapping places with another RDA administrator. He was the one who picked her division, thinking that sending in more Army work for him would fasten. Parker likely knew he would never return to Earth yet stayed on Pandora. Also, he had to handle complaints from the scientists, Avatar Program members, and RDA mercenaries regarding things on Pandora such as the Na'vi. This man was greedy, wanted more money but He knows right from wrong, and it wasn;t until the end when he completely lost control of the situation that he unleashed the dogs and he couldn't get them back in the yard.

When he was giving Quaritch the green light to roll on Hometree, Rasmei could saw how pensive and helpless he was, because he really didn't want to do it why trying to mock what Grace was telling him, but as much as he could, he took her words in his head and even Quaritch has to assure him he would try to do it humanely. Throughout those three months Parker spent the whole time giving Jake a hard time because he was accountable to the RDA when things are behind schedule, but he was still always giving Jake, Rasmei and Grace extra time to try to do things peaceably. He didn't want kids to die, he didn't want any of those Na'vi to die.
