Two avatars followed the Na'vi woman, carefully stepping ahead to the slippery forest floor. Jumping and jogging, copying the Na'vi movements. Rasmei's tail suddenly touched the leaves behind her causing it to bloom with bioluminescence glowing color. Gasping with the sight, she snickered and pointed to Jake. He gazed about him in growing wonder and a smile formed on his lips. He touched leaves as he passed, watching the bioluminescence shiver through them. ''So beautiful...''He heard her mumble while her eyes glowing with the sight of everything she saw in this forest. Jake looked down as they crossed a bed of purple moss which reacted to the pressure of their footsteps. Rings of green light, like ripples on a pond, expand outward from each footfall. Exploding rings of light where his feet touched down. Dream-like, surreal beauty.
Rasmei somehow managed to pull away her boots and threw them away without having a second thought. She found it amusing to have her bare feet walking on the soil to avoid the slippery floor as they ran over a large like pool at the base of a waterfall that was as clear as the sky. They followed the native woman, running along a root, across a mirror raised root-trunk.
''You know who she is?'' Jake asked from behind The Captain which she turned to him.
''From what I saw from Grace's photo. This might be the chief's daughter.'' She answered him as she jogged across the root to another pathway, making sure to not losing a sight of the other woman.
''The chief's daughter?'' Jake landed with a loud thud beside her, slightly balanced himself.
''Neytiri.''
''Huh?''
''Neytiri.''
''Neytili?''
''Ney-ti-ri.'' Rasmei told him slowly and he looked down to her lips confusingly. She frowned at his reaction before she shook her head and waved off. ''We're going to lose her if you keep asking me non-stop, marine.''
Without a second past, Rasmei and Jake heard the sound of something flying ahead of them. Eyes trying to find the source of the sound but it came out in surprise with two ropes suddenly gliding over to their legs.
Jake attempted to jump but only ended up snagging himself and tangled with the rope and causing him to fall off the root even Rasmei hadn't had a chance to avoid it. The bolo ropes took them off guard, as she yelped and bumped her head into Jake's whole body before she toppled off the root and crashed into the foliage below. ''AHH!''
She pushed herself off from him, quickly on her feet clenching her but the bolo was still forcing her to fall back again. Rasmei harshly hissed, trying to untangle herself from the bolo while Jake struggled to do his. Just by the chaos of them, they weren't aware of the sound of the pounding of hooves approaching from each side. Rasmei growled in annoyance as she got herself free from the bolo rope. ''You're ruining my good mood!''
