After jacob overheard what his girlfriends said about not having a gift for him, he remembered he didn't get anything for them as well since they've been togethor for, like, 3 months or something like that. now we see jacob entering a store and started to find the perfect gifts for his girlfriends, but then he sees a woman that his dad knew before he died and started to walk toward her
Jacob: hey, is it ok if you help me look for something?
he asked to a woman with the name ''kelly smith'' on her nametag, who smiled at jacob
Kelly: oh hey jacob, it's been a while.
she said politely
Jacob: yeah, it has been a while. i heard that this store got new employees, how are they doing?
he asked
Kelly: they've been really helpful here ever since they moved into San Diego, i mean just look at them.
she said as she pointed at her new demon co-workers as a hellhound was holding a big box filled with decorations for the store and a succubus flew up to place some wraiths on some signs, which made a male human employee give her a double thumbs up and jacob smile at seeing them being helpful to the store
Kelly: so, is there anything you need, jacob?
she asked
Jacob: well, i'm here looking for presents for my girlfriends and i was wondering if you could help me find some that are perfect for them.
he said, making kelly smirk
Kelly: oh, so it is true that you have a harem. well i got some gifts that are perfect for them. follow me.
she said as jacob shrugged his shoulders and started following her to the back of the store, then left with kelly holding a black box and then blew the dust off of it, making jacob cough at the dust contact and then sees kelly opening it, revealing some gems of different colors
Kelly: these jewels are extremely rare and because of that, they're worth a fortune by the person who sold these to this store. in other words, these are perfect for for girlfriends.
she explained as jacob looked at the gems in interest
Jacob: how much are these jewels?
he asked
Kelly: i'd say....$1,000.
she said, making jacob shocked
Jacob: WHAT!!? i don't have that kind of money. (sigh) well plan B, gotta get charlie & the others some cheap gifts, like chocolate or something like that.
when he said ''charlie'', it made kelly stunned at hearing that name
Kelly: wait, as in ''charlie morningstar'', she's one of your girlfriends?
she asked while being stunned as jacob looked at her with his right eyebrow raised up
Jacob: well..yeah, i though you knew.
he said, making kelly smile widely
Kelly: ok change of price...$20.
she said, making jacob do this bit from futurama
(french voice: later)
we see jacob walking out of the store while holding the box of gems in his hands, then turned around and said to kelly
