as the sun rose up and the black sky slowly turned blue, we see stores opening and everyone in san diego was starting to go to work. in jacob's neighborhood, we see him, zuzu (who moved in), octavia, and charlie playing super smash bros ultimate and loona was watching a video called suction cup man 3: one hell of a climb
after watching the video, loona laughed for a bit as she said
loona: jacob, this suction cup man guy is hilarious to watch!!!!!
jacob: yep, i just love the PIEMATIONS youtube channel.
he said while laughing and playing smash bros ultimate, but it got him thinking about what happened at school a few days ago when loona hit jacob after that dodgeball game and since then, it made him wonder about why did loona's birth parents give her up like ''were they protecting her or something or what'', but he snapped out of it when octavia (who was playing as samus from metroid) beat everyone and won the match as velvet and the others came in and she spoke to zuzu
velvet: hey zuzu, how's it going since you moved in?
zuzu: great, i got a text from my mom and dad saying that they got their first guest and they were happy.
jacob: well, it's great that your parents agreed to help us.
dia: and after we met your dad, he seemed nice.
summer: exactly what dia said.
crymini: and after you told us what happened at school, do you think i got powers as well?
she said, making everyone wonder if that's possible as jacob said
jacob: well....it's a possibility.
zuzu: yeah, but we'll see if that if you do when it kicks in.
she said as the door bell rang and jacob got up, walked towards the door, opened it and sees adam
jacob: hey bro, what's up?
adam: someone stole my dad's shovel and rake, is it ok if i-
he was cut off as jacob said
jacob: it's in the back, my dad put a lock on it to prevent someone from stealing them.
he said as adam entered the house
(next door, eddgang's new home, tom POV)
We see tom and his friends watching tv on HULU, and other streaming services since edd's uncle payed for them. while they're watching tv, tom spoke up
tom: hey, i'm gonna see if he has any tools for us, or you in the matter since you inherited his money and house.
edd: sure thing.
matt: yeah, whatever.
tord nodded as tom got up from the couch and went to the backyard, found the shed and sees one of those lawnmowers that you ride on

tom: woah.
he said while smiling and he got on, turned it on and started mowing the lawn. while he was mowing the grass, he spotted two figures on the other side of the fence, so he stopped the lawnmower, got off and peaked over the fence and sees..you know who they are
jacob: ok, promise that you'll give it back.
adam: alright, i promise that i'll---jacob, there's someone looking at us over the fence.
he said as jacob turned around and sees tom looking at them with his blank eyes widening as he was spotted, jacob smiled and said
jacob: hi.
as he said that and instead of tom saying ''hi'' back to him, he retreated and went back inside while he was sweating lightly, knowing it was a stupid idea at spying on jacob and adam because since they moved, tom and the others never had a chance to make friends, but he forgot to mow the lawn and went back outside and resumed mowing the lawn
after mowing the lawn, he put the lawnmower back in the shed, he went back inside and sat down as edd said
edd; hey, tom. did you mow the lawn?
tom: yeah i just finished. and i spotted our neighbors next door.
tord: (sigh) were they rude like eduardo?
he said as guitar music played in the background and tom spoke again
tom: nope, i was shy for some reason.
edd: oh come on tom, you have to make sure that they're friendly or not. maybe you can talk to someone tomorrow, ok?
tom: ok.
he said as he now planned to talk to the new neighbors tomorrow as the screen went dark
