Into the fire part two

You all climbed up on top of the castle to see Zagan, temeluchus, and Patrick.
"When I tell mom about what you've been doing, she's gonna flip!" Zagan exclaimed. "Oh yeah? Well, I'll tell her about the time-"
Barney and logs ran over and grabbed Zagan.
"Facelock!" "Leg hold!" They both yelled. Zagan giggled and turned them both to stone.
You quickly ran over and shielded Patrick, but unfortunately, also got turned to stone. "How could you?!" Patrick yelled, running at her, but she also turned him to stone.
"You monster!" Pugsley yelled. "Awwww, thanks!" Zagan smiled. He could feel the rage growing inside him, and he shot a laser at her, she sliced it in half with her sword, sending it flying towards the giant dragon statue. It cut its head clean off. It fell to the ground causing dust to emit from everywhere.
Once they could see again, half of Zagan's mask had been chopped off. She giggled and snapped her fingers. Four of her demon henchmen held the four of you over the side of the castle.
"Come one step closer, and they'll drop your little buddies." Zagan threatened. Pugsley's eyes widened and he sighed in defeat, floating down to the ground.
"Take me instead." He said sadly. "Oh I intended to. But first, I'm getting my brother out of you." She glared.

Courtney's pov
"I'm baaacckk." I smiled nervously, expecting everyone to be super mad at me, but it was even worse. Those guys, burgers and smoothies, yeah, I can't remember their names either. Anyway, they had been turned to stone.
In fact, everyone had been turned to stone. even Norma and Badyah.
I looked over to see some demons placing some statues, and they were my friends. And... y/n. I teleported over, cupping her face with my hands.
"Y/n? Y/n! Hang on! I'll be right right back! Don't move! I'm gonna get you outta there." I assured her and teleported under the stage.

2nd person pov
"Good. Now that we're all here..." Zagan dropped pugsley. "Sit. Stay. Good dog. The park is ours!" Zagan cheered and all the demons celebrated as well.
"But this is only the start. This plane is like, ginormous! Way bigger than the ones down there. We've got a lot work to do. Those upstairs are gonna be PRESSED over us conquering the neutral plane. But when the angels retaliate, we'll be ready!" She announced, then looked down at pugsley.
"But first, this beast has held my brother in its dumb little body long enough. It's time to put down the dog." She glared, pulling out her sword and pugsley backed up nervously. She swung her blade at him, but he was pulled under the stage before she could actually do any harm.
"You rang?" Courtney smirked. "Oh, great. You." Pugsley said sarcastically. "I know, oh great, it's Courtney, the one who totally betrayed us. Look, I know this is rich coming from me, but... you gotta get back there and fight!" She grinned.
"But how? I can't control temeluchus." Suddenly a sword stabbed through the ceiling and right in front of pugsley. "I know you're down there. Come out and play little doggy!" Zagan taunted.
Suddenly, the sword stabbed by Courtney. "Hey! Wrong demon!" She yelled but the sword stabbed at her again.
She yelped and quickly hopped over to pugsley. "Pugsley, take this." She said, throwing the picture of temeluchus at him. "Your not playing with a full deck. You only got- a little bit- of him!" She explained while dodging the blade.
"But... if I let him take over... I'm not sure I can come back." He said as the blade came down on him. Luckily, Courtney pulled him outta the way just in time.
"Pugsley, trust me." She said. "Why?" "Good point." She smirked, pulling the lever to send pugsley back up. "You'll be fine!" She called, giving him a thumbs up.
"Ah, there you are. Now hold still so I can execute you." Zagan said, walking towards him. He stared down at the picture. She raised her sword to pierce him. He closed his eyes. He caught her sword. The crowd gasps. He opened his eyes. And it wasn't pugsley anymore.
He levitated into the air and gained his true form. Zagan yelped and started running, but he easily caught her.
"Hey, Temmy! I was trying to save you, not execute you! And look! It totally worked-" "you tried to wrestle this plane from me! To steal my glorious conquest!" He said angrily. "But that body! You're not yourself. You've changed!" She frowned and he thought for a moment. "Maybe so." He glared, before sending her flying through the air and crashing into a building.
At first, it was dead silent. Then Zagan stormed out of the building at the speed of light. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GET HIM!" She yelled and all the demons started attacking.
During all the chaos, one of the demons knocked over the statue of your mom. Courtney quickly ran over to hold it up, but she was really struggling.
"Cmon! Put some back into it!" Pauline urged. "Oh, heyy! If it isn't my old pal, BIG FAT LIAR!" She glared, still trying to hold the statue up.
She suddenly felt the pressure on her back disappear and she looked up to see Pauline holding all the statues with her powers. "Huh? Why are you helping?" She asked confusedly.
"This park is my legacy, and I'd rather not have hundreds of people dying in it. I'm not having a repeat of Phoenix Parks Europe!" She scoffed.
Zagan jumped on temeluchus, sinking her sword deep into his flesh. (or whatever he's made of) she cut just deep enough to reach pugsley.
She held her hand up to turn him to stone, but temeluchus grabbed it before she could. Then her own hand started turning to stone. She gasped and started trying to pull her arm out of his grasp.
And she eventually did, but her arm broke off in the process. "No! Not my favorite arm!" She exclaimed as temeluchus punched her mid air sending her flying all the way back to the mansion.
"Argh! This isn't fair! When mom hears about this, you're gonna be so dead! Again!" She said angrily as the other piece of her mask fell off. She whistled and all the other demons flew, crawl, and ran, whatever the case may be, back to the mansion.
"Have fun dealing with the angels without me!" She glared, getting onto the elevator with the rest of her army and the doors closed.
"Yes! We did it! We did it!" Courtney cheered... until she noticed temeluchus. "The neutral plane is mine once again!" He laughed stomping and burning the place up. "Yay, we're saved. Hurry." She grinned unenthusiastically.
She teleported over to him and waved her arms frantically. "No! Stop!" he looked down at her. "Ah, little red. So desperately lonely you befriended humans. How does it feel to hit rock bottom, and still find a way to fall?" He smiled, shooting eye lasers at her but she teleported out of the way.
"Interesting. Sounds like you know the feeling." She smirked and he tried to zap her again, but she teleported outta the way AGAIN and onto your head. "It's ok, you can stop pretending." She rolled her eyes. 
His whole body was set ablaze. "Okkkk!" Courtney smirked. He growled in anger. "Yeah, do it." She challenged.
He sighed, falling to his knees. "I can't. I don't understand." He said in defeat. "Yeah you do! Cuz that little piece of you that stayed in pugsley got to see everything he did! Barney's Sunday morning blueberry pancakes! Norma's tv viewing parties/lectures. Any y/n's cuddles. You learned to love humans alongside pugsley, and alongside me! I even fell in love with one." She smiled, looking down at you.
He glared and roared, stomping right beside her. "Uh, you good?" She asked. "What have you done to me?" He sighed. "I'm telling ya, humans are contagious. They got a way of getting under your scales, but... it's not so bad if you let it happen." She smiled.
He coughed, throwing up pugsley. Courtney gasped, teleporting over to see if he was ok. Temeluchus turned back to his normal form. "He's gonna be fine. I'll try patching things up with my sister. Give her a few kingdoms or something." He sighed. "Families are hard. Don't stress about it." She smiled. "You sure you don't wanna come back down? I could give you a diplomatic immunity." He suggested and she stared down at pugsley. "I've got everything I need right here, your majesty." She smiled softly and he nodded. He made a rock on sign 🤘🏾and flew over to the mansion.
Pugsley coughed, opening his eyes. Courtney smiled, nodding. A bright light shone from the mansion and everyone turned back to normal.
Barney fell onto logs and you almost tripped on nothing.
"Barney!" "Logs!" Theybsaid to each other. "I was so scared, I thought-" "I thought I was never gonna get the chance to..." and they kissed😌. "Awwww!" You gushed and they both blushed as everyone started clapping.
"You're welcome! You're welcome, darlings! I saved you all! Yes, it was me." Pauline announced. "Wow, those kids were amazing. They saved us." "Never a big fan of Pauline, (then why are you here sir 🤨) but these kids!" "Agh, forget it." Pauline glared.
"Sweeties!" Your mom called. "Mom! Dad!" You both smiled and Hugged them. "We're glad you're okay!" Barney smiled. "We're glad you're ok, too. I'm not sure exactly what we watched but uh, it was amazing." Your dad smiled. "Uh, we kinda keep things to ourselves here, darling." Barney winked and you chuckled.
"Look kids, I owe you two an apology." Mom-" "no, let me finish. I've been so worried about keeping the peace with Grammy gram that I wasn't thinking about how it was affecting you two. I think running away might be a guttman family trait. I'm scared of confronting my mom too." Your mom explained. "Oh, Grammy gram is WAY scarier than you." You chuckled.
"Right?! She nearly blew her top when you shaved your head, Roxie." Your dad agreed. "You did what?!" You and Barney yelled. "Oh, I was a kid... Well, I was about your age actually. Look, Grammy gram is a very interesting person, Yknow? But that doesn't make it okay for her to treat you like that."
"We can come to Friday night dinners. It's fine." Barney smiled slightly. "No, it's not. You two are not having another dinner with her until she realizes what she did. We'll talk to her." Your mom smiled. " we have your back from now on. I'm sorry we didn't before." Your dad apologized.
"Maybe Saturday dinners can be our thing, though. Plus, I wanna know what's been going on." Your mom smirked as logs awkwardly stepped away and you burst out laughing. "Sure you kids don't wanna come with us? It's kind of a mess here." Your mom said and you looked over at your brother. "That's why we fit in." He smiled, placing a hand on your shoulder. Your mother nodded and they all walked away.
"Barney? Y/n?" You heard a familiar voice squeak and you looked down to see lil ol pugsley. "Pugsley, you're okay!" Barney smiled, and you hugged him, giving him lil kisses.
"Uh, what happened?" Barney asked as Norma walked up. "It was Courtney. She stopped temeluchus. She saved everyone!" Pugsley exclaimed. "Courtney? But she-" "betrayed you? Abandoned you? Left you for dead?" You all looked over to see Courtney, standing there with a guilty look on her face.
"I didn't know what I had until I didn't. I'm not expecting you to forgive me-" you cut her off as you ran over, embracing her in a hug. You swung her around, wrapping your arms tightly around her. At first she screamed like she was on a roller coaster, but soon laughed, hugging you back.
You stopped swinging her, and stared down, grinning from ear to ear. You couldn't stop yourself. You leaned in, tilting your head to the right. She raised her eyebrows but slowly did the same. Your rich e/c eyes met her bright yellow ones and you began closing them as your soft l/c lips brushed against her scaly ones. You pressed yourself against her and your lips met. It was a sensation unlike any other. Hell, you could almost hear fireworks in the background.
You pulled away after a moment. You smiled at each other. "Hmm, kissing is a lot nicer than I thought it would be." She said and you giggled. "Even better than when I kissed you in that western movie." "Wha-" "Nothing! Hehe... Wait... Does this mean we're two individuals closely associated romantically in a relationship?" She asked. Gotta be the weirdest way you ever heard anyone describe a couple.
"Uhhh... yeah! I mean, only if you wanna be." You said and she sighed, rolling her eyes. "Sometimes, humans total obliviousness just blows my mind. Of course I do!" She smiled and you smiled back, leaning in and pecking her lips.
"Awwwww!" You could hear Barney, logs, and Badyah all gushing and fangirling. "Alright, shows over." Courtney glared, chuckling a bit. "What the hell are you guys doing?! Get in here!" You smiled, gesturing for them to come over, and they all joined in on the hug.
"Awww, geez. Cmon guys." Courtney sniffled, as a tear formed in her eye. It was beyond precious. Everyone pulled away. "Well I didn't say stop." She chuckled, wiping her tear away.
"So, what's gonna happen now?" Badyah asked. "Well, my shift starts in three hours. So, I'm taking a Power Nap." Norma sighed, laying back. You all went and sat by her. Courtney snuggled up against you, and you wrapped your arm around her. "This is the best fucking day of my life." You thought.
"I meant more conceptually, like, we kinda just saved the park right there. This is the biggest day of our lives." Badyah smiled. "Really? I thought it was Tuesday." Barney said and you all laughed.
Finally, finally things felt perfect.... Hopefully nothing happens to ruin this.
