Y/N went along the train looking for a cabin until he found a mostly empty cabin, he knocked on the door and poked his head in.

"Sorry, is it all right if I join you?" Y/N asked as the young boy occupying the cabin looked at him.

The boy had Jet black hair, round rimmed glasses, Y/N noticed a bruise on the boys wrist peeking out from the sleeve of his shirt, he saw a lightning bolt shaped scar on the boy's forehead.

"No, please, come in." The boy said kindly as Y/N walked in and put the small hand luggage case on the shelf above and sat down.

"Hello, I'm Y/N Holmes." Y/N said as the boy looked wowed.

"Holmes, as in the detective?" The boy said as Y/N nodded.

"His son." Y/N answered as the boy looked at him.

"Oh, sorry, Harry Potter." Harry said as they shook hands.

"Pleasure to meet you." Y/N said kindly as a ginger haired boy walked in.

"Do you mind if I join you, everywhere else is full." The ginger boy said as the two boys gestured to the seats.

"By all means." Y/N and Harry said as the red haired boy walked in and sat opposite Y/N.

"I'm Ron by the way. Ron Weasley." Ron said as he shook hands with Y/N and Harry.

"Y/N Holmes." Y/N said as he the boy looked awestruck, Y/N was getting rather tired of seeing that look on peoples faces. Y/N pushed it from his mind and smiled.

"Woah, and you're Harry Potter." Ron said as he looked at Harry.

They began passing time talking, with Y/N once again reading a book.

They were interrupted when the door opened to reveal Hermione stood there.

"Hello Ms Granger." Y/N said as he looked up and smiled at her.

"Hello Y/N." Hermione said as she looked at Y/N. She sat down and smiled at Y/N. Turning to look at Ron and Harry.

"Holy cricket, you're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger." Hermione said as she saw that Ron was stuffing his face with sweets they had bought off of the sweet trolley. "And you are?"

"Ron Weasley." Ron said as he looked at Hermione.

"Pleasure." Hermione said dryly, like she didn't really mean it. "Some boy called Neville has lost his toad, Y/N would you care to help me find it? Someone with your family's reputation for finding things should find looking for a toad easy."

"Okay, it should relieve the boredom for a brief moment at least." Y/N said as he stood up and stepped outside the cabin. "Where was the last sighting of the toad?"

"Back at the platform." Hermione said as Y/N sighed.

"Okay, seems more difficult, wonderful." Y/N said with a smile as he noticed a small print on the floor, a slimy print like a toads.

Y/N pulled out his wand and used the magnifying glass on it to analyse the print.

"The toads on the train, likely hiding inside a case, which case would be a mystery if it wasn't so obvious. Mind if I open your case?" Y/N asked as he pointed at Nevilles case, he opened it without waiting and revealed the toad was waiting. "Toad found."

Hermione was amazed by home, starstruck even.

Y/N smiled at them all and left, heading off when he saw Wednesday in a cabin alone, Y/N knocked on the cabin and she turned to look at him.

"Mind if I come in?" Y/N asked.

"Please, come in." Wednesday said as Y/N walked into the cabin and sat opposite her. "I see you've just solved a case, quite literally in fact."

"Yes, the great case of the missing toad." Y/N said as he smiled at her before looking out of the window.

"How?"

"I looked at the print left by the toad and it indicated that the toad was heading towards Neville and Hermione's cabin, then  it was just the simple matter of figuring out which case it was hiding in, when anyone hides anywhere, they always choose the option they feel safer in, people and animals feel safe in places they already know, ergo it was Nevilles bag." Y/N said as Wednesday looked stunned.

"Can you tell me about any of your fathers old cases? I write crime novels and I'm looking for inspiration."

"Very well, one condition. May I read your novels. I mean I'll still tell you the stories, it was less of a condition more of an optional incentive for me." Y/N said as he was still trying to get a read on Wednesday, but somehow he just couldn't read her like he could anyone else.

"I was going to offer you the chance to read them anyway, who better to assist me on the fine details than someone who is gifted at looking for them?" Wednesday said as Thing signed to Y/N who understood

"I was going to offer you the chance to read them anyway, who better to assist me on the fine details than someone who is gifted at looking for them?" Wednesday said as Thing signed to Y/N who understood.

"Thing seems impressed by how quick you were to trust me." Y/N said as Wednesday nodded.

"So he should be, I don't trust people often. But you, I have a feeling you'll be the Watson to my Holmes." Wednesday said as Y/N's brow furrowed.

"Wouldn't I be Holmes, it is my name after all." Y/N said as Wednesday gave the slightest smirk.

"I'm Holmes, you're Watson." Wednesday said as she looked Y/N in the eyes.

"What story would you like to hear first?"

"Lets go Chronologically. A Study in Pink." Wednesday said as Y/N nodded, he began to tell the story of a Study in Pink while Wednesday listened attentively...
