This Is An Urgent Appeal...

As Y/N arrived at the statue staircase to Dumbledore's office, he saw Wednesday waiting for him.

"Everything okay?" Wednesday said pointing to a speck of blood on Y/N's forehead. Y/N was quick to wipe it off but Wednesday fake pouted. "I liked you with the blood. Shall we?"

"After you Ms Addams." Y/N said as Wednesday nodded.

"Sherbet Lemon!" Wednesday said as the statue began to rise forming a staircase. Y/N and Addams stood on one of the steps. "So, the blood?"

"Ron's. He was annoying me." Y/N said bluntly as Wednesday nodded. "Any idea why I'm wanted for this?"

"Apparently some teachers have described us two as friends." Wednesday said as Y/N went silent.

"Friends are evidence of sentiment, a notion which I loathe. How would you describe us?" Y/N asked as Wednesday smirked when she turned her head away.

"Two of the only people who think nowadays." Wednesday replied as Y/N nodded. "Rumour is that you've been hired to take on a case."

"I'm assuming you heard that from Thing? How are the visions going?" Y/N asked as Wednesday looked surprised.

"How-?"

"I saw you have one the other day, you accidentally bumped into a toilet door and you had some kind of seizure, I was on my way to Transfiguration." Y/N said as Wednesday looked impressed. Before she could reply, they reached the door to Dumbledore's office, with Y/N knocking on the door.

"Enter." A soft voice came over through the door.  "Ah, Mr Holmes, Ms Addams. Please, come in. Good morning to you both."

"Good morning, Professor." Y/N and Wednesday said in unison.

Y/N was looking around the room analysing everything, he looked at the paper on Dumbledore's desk until the headmaster spoke.

"Your father had that habit Y/N, reading my writing upside down." Dumbledore chuckled as Y/N looked internally cursed at yet another comparison to his father

"Not to seem rude professor, but why did you ask me here to Wednesday's appeal?" Y/N asked as Dumbledore smiled.

"I wish to say I have approved her appeal. Ms Addams, you have been moved into Ravenclaw house. Mr Holmes, a few of the teachers have stated that you and Ms Addams hereseem rather fond of each other, so as part of a scheme proposed by the Ministry of Magic, we are having...house ambassadors from each year, it's to help improve the level of cooperation between houses, you have been chosen for the Gryffindor 1st year ambassador you are allowed access to the common rooms of other houses on one condition, that you remain well behaved, if you start to behave improperly, then you will have this title revoked. Professor Snape, Professor Sprout, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Flitwick have approved you as the first ever house ambassador." Dumbledore said as Y/N looked at him. "Ms Addams has been noted as an exemplary student, her classwork has been considered the best along with Yours and Ms Grangers, so naturally Professor Flitwick has chosen Ms Addams as the Ravenclaw ambassador for your year."

"Who's the Slytherin first year ambassador?"

"Daphne Greengrass." Dumbledore said as Y/N nodded.

"Good pick, she's not an idiotic bigot like most of the others." Wednesday stated as Y/N turned to her.

"And Hufflepuff?" Y/N asked.

"Susan Bones." Dumbledore stated as Y/N agreed with him. "You may go Ms Addams, unless you already know about the matter?"

"Yes, I'm sure Ms Addams would be delighted to...assist me on my...case." Y/N said as Dumbledore nodded.

"Mr Holmes, I hope you know that this case as you call it, is dangerous. It will involve you taking risks that may lead to your expulsion, are you certain that you wish to take it on?"

"A three headed dog guarding a mysterious trapdoor, a robbery at Gringotts, and danger, don't threaten me with a good time professor." Y/N said as Dumbledore smiled.

"Very well, you may go, but Mr Holmes, I would strongly advise caution." Dumbledore said as Y/N chuckled.

"Advice has been noted sir." Y/N said as he went to leave.

"Enjoy your feast tonight, Mr Holmes." Dumbledore said as Y/N and Wednesday walked out of the office. "Just like his father."

Y/N and Wednesday left the office together and headed down to the great hall for the feast...
