"You can turn around," I hear her say. I slowly uncover my eyes and turn around to face the tub. I see her face set on the side of the bath. Her silky, wet arms are resting on the outside next to her face. The bubbles surround her body covering her beauty. Her big doe eyes look at me as a blush flushes her cheeks.
This woman is gorgeous.
I slowly take a seat next to the wall of the tub closest to her. It's taking everything in me to not pull her face in and kiss her.
"Tell me what happened," I whisper. "I went to work and started the day but a coworker called in sick so I had to take her shift. Then everyone's lunch lined up so I had to skip lunch too," She slowly starts off.
I nodded my head telling her to continue. I grab her hand and hold it for support and to show her I'm here for her.
"I asked my boss if I could eat a light snack and she said no. After I went out to take some drinks to customers and lady started yelling at me," She tells me starting to cry. "She got mad that I didn't get everything she ordered then threw her coffee at me," She says but by this time she's on the verge of sobbing.
I squeeze her hand and brush her tears away. I seem calm on the outside but on the inside, I'm fuming with anger. That lady had no right to do that to my girl. Her boss sounds like a dirty cunt too. "Did anything else happen?" I ask as her tears die down.
She nods her head yes. "After she threw her drink at me I punched her in the face," she said shyly.
I feel like a proud mom.
I smile, "But now I'm fired and don't know what to do because that was my best-paying job and-" I cut her off "It's ok we can get you another job," I say gently rubbing circles on the back of her hand.
We talk for a little while but her phone soon goes off. We both look up at the counter. I get up and see the contact.

"Who is it?" She asks. I hand her the phone and her face immediately brightens.
I can do that too.
She hits answer and screams come from the other side of the phone. Adelaide just giggles as she continues screaming.

I giggle as Syd screams at me from the other side of the phone.
"Where the fuck were you! You said you would call me at lunch!" I hear her yell. "I know my job was crazy but I'll explain that to you later," I say still slightly laughing. Remembering Zane is still here I look up at him. He looks chill so I turn the sound down "You can leave if you want," I whisper to him.
He gives me a thumbs-up and walks out.

After I talked to Syd I washed up and got out. I changed into some pajamas. But Syd made plans for us to go to a club on Wednesday after she found out the story of my job and what happened with Will.
She said I need to have a good fuck and get drunk off my ass. I would but with everything with Will, I don't think I'm ready to have sex again. I mean a good fuck sounds amazing but I've never slept with anyone other than Will and I don't know what I would do If I did.
The idea of having sex with someone other than Will sounds foreign and odd, but I am willing to try.
I lay on my bed scrolling through my phone as I hear a light knock at the door. "Come in." I look over and see Zane's head poke through. "I made dinner. You said you didn't eat anything all day so I made something," He says scratching the back of his head with a light blush sitting on his face.
Awww he's adorable.
I get up and hug him with seems to catch him off guard. "Thank you so much," I say into his chest. I can feel his chest rumble as he chuckles. But both pull away and he leads me to the kitchen.
