"Where are we going?" Eddie asked after several minutes of walking through the cold, dark forest. "It's a wolf secret. if we told you, we'd have to kill you." Wynter said. "Then why are you literally showing us the way instead of taking us there blindfolded?" Eddie asked, staring at the girl with a small smile of victory. Her smile quickly fell as the wolf started coughing again. "Are you okay?" Addison asked, placing a hand on the girl's back. "My necklace is losing its charge." Wynter said sadly. "She looks like me when I suddenly get a bad cough out of nothing." Eddie commented before Wyatt spoke up.
"Every day, more and more of our pack becomes sick because their moonstones lose their power. All of our elders are too sick to travel, which leaves..." he said before Willa took over.
"...which leaves taking care of the pack to us. To me." she said. "You'll be fine, Wynter. I promise." she assured the younger wolf. "You better be right about this." she said warningly to her brother.
"We need to find the moonstone soon." Willa said before she started walking. "Follow us, please." Wyatt said to the girls, placing a hand on the back of the nearest one, being the brunette.
Eddie felt a small shiver down her spine as they locked eyes before the two girl followed after them up a small mountain. They then went inside a cave where an orange light was shining.
Eddie stopped, taking a hold of Wyatt's arm before the rest walked ahead. "Why do you have such an interest in Addison?" she asked quietly. "You'll know soon, but it's not in the way you think. I know she has a boyfriend." he answered. "Then why am I here?" she asked. "Because I am hoping we can help you." he smiled before walking away.
"Help me with what?" she said to herself before walking after them. "The wolf den!" Wynter smiled, opening her arms as the girls entered the cave. Inside was a huge room, filled with stuff to make it look like a home. Several werewolves turned to look at them as they entered, making Eddie slightly uncomfortable.
"It's okay to be impressed." Wynter smiled. "Our language." Wyatt smiled before howling and saying the same of the two girls. "That means welcome." he translated. Addison tried to mimic, but made everyone laugh. "Ostrich boots?" Wynter asked confused.
"No, I think Addison meant," Wyatt said before howling again. Addison tried again, but no luck. "Polka dot unicorn?" he asked. "Oh, no. Sorry, um." she said before howling again, this time everyone gasped. "Whoa, language. There are were-pups around." he quickly said.
"She needs to put a pebble in the swear-wolf jar." Wynter said. "Give it a try, Eddie." She then said to the brunette. Eddie looked at her blonde friend, who nodded with a smile, before howling. Everyone in the cave answered back immediately.
"Congrats, Eddie. First try. You're a natural." Wyatt smiled. "Enough. This is not why we brought them here." Willa said annoyed. "Why are we here?" Addison asked. Wyatt picked up a shining, blue crystal and held it against the light from the moon before a round shape of light appeared on the wall.
Inside the circle was a shadow of a girl with white hair but no face, howling. "I believe you will lead us to the moonstone. I believe you're the Great Alpha. I believe you're a werewolf." he then smiled at the blonde. "What?!" the girls asked in shock.
Wyatt: "Turn up, explain our history. Pull back the veil of mystery. What's written on the cave is prophecy. The Great Alpha is our destiny. Show us the power of chemistry. Lead us to the source of our energy. No one knows her identity. But she looks like you identically."
Werewolves: "This is how we're living our lives, living our lives, living our lives. Yeah, can you feel the call to the wild, call to the wild, the call to the wild. We are the call, we are the call, we are the call to the wild."
Addison: "I see a real community. Unique, but you have unity. You know who you're supposed to be. Release to the rhythm totally."
Wyatt: "I feel divine when you're close to me. And you can feel it too, hopefully. Now look up and tell me what you really see. A bunch of stray wolves or a family?"
Werewolves: "This is how we're living our lived, living our lives, living our lives. Can you feel the call to the wild, call to the wild, call to the wild. We are the call, we are the call, we are the call to the wild. We are the call, we are the call, we are the call to the wild."
Willa: "Hold up, before you do. Let me interrupt. She's a cheerleader, not an Alpha. You're in the den. But you'll need to earn my trust. Now show me what you got if you're one of us."
Werewolves: "This is how we're living our lives, living our lives, living our lives. Can you feel the call to the wild, call to the wild, the call to the wild. We are the call, we are the call, we are the call to the wild. We are the call, we are the call, we are the call to the wild."
Everyone howled at the end of the song, Eddie joining them even though she was watching from the sidelines. "Addison!" Zed yelled as he suddenly appeared, standing in front of her for protection.
