"Good morning." Addison smiled to her parents as she went downstairs. "Isn't Winnie here Today?" she asked, noticing her best friend wasn't present like she usually was. "No, we thought maybe she was sleeping in your room." Missy smiled at her daughter.
Addison shrugged her shoulders, deciding to ask the brunette when they got to school, before she sat down to eat her breakfast. "Is everything alright with Winona?" Dale asked. "What do you mean?" Addison asked.
"Well, her father has been in a bad mood ever since the detonation, and I know that he has a bad temper. I just want to know if he's yelling a lot." he asked. Addison could feel her heartbeat raising as she looked at him.
She so desperately wanted to tell her father what was going on behind those four walls of the Hart house, but Winona was adamant and even threatened bad stuff if she ever told anyone.
"No, Winona's fine." was all she answered. The two adults shared a look, not fully believing their daughter, but decided to let it go. Addison quickly ate the last of her breakfast before bidding goodbye and leaving the house in a hurry.
The blonde walked fast, almost ran towards the school, desperate to speak to her friend. A few people threw her looks on the way, but they mostly came when she threw open the doors to the school.
"Addison, what's wrong?" Eliza asked as she hurried towards the group of friends. "Where's Winnie? Have you seen her?" She asked. "Uhm, Addie, I'm right here." Winona answered, closing the door to her locker.
"I need to talk to you, and I need to talk to you now." she said before grabbing her arm and dragging her away, earning wired looks from their friends. "What's wrong?" Winona asked her friend.
Addison opened her mouth to say something, but stopped as she realized something unusual with the girl. "Why are you wearing a turtleneck?" she asked, pointing at the pastel purple turtleneck the girl was wearing.
"Because it's pretty?" Winona answered. "Anyways, why weren't you at my house this morning?" Addison asked. "I overslept." the brunette answered fast. Addison looked at her, clearly not believing her.
"Winona, you haven't overslept in 10 years." she pointed out. "Look, my dad went to work early this morning, so I decided to eat breakfast with my mom for once. No big deal." Winona answered.
Her heart was beating fast, as the girl was nervous. She was unaware if Missy had told her daughter that Winona's mother was away for three days on a work trip. "Oh, alright. You scared me." Addison said, making the brunette let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
"I'm sorry. I should have told you, but I forgot." Winona smiled before the two friends hugged it out and went back to their friends. "What was that about?" Wyatt asked. "Oh, nothing important." Winona smiled before opening her locker door. Hiding her face behind the door, she let out a shaky breath of relief.
But one person noticed it. Wyatt was standing closest to her, and he heard the shaky breath she let out. But, judging by the answer she gave, he decided not to say anything out of respect. "So, do you guys have any plans today? I was thinking that we could all study at my house." Addison smiled at her friends.
"I promised Zoey I'd help her with rearranging her room." Zed answered. "Yeah, I promised to help her with it as well." Eliza said. Bonzo said something in Zombie, before Zed translated. "Bonzo says he has practice with the band tonight.".
"Bree?" Addison asked. "It's my mom's birthday, so we're celebrating that tonight." the shorter girl smiled. "What about you?" the blonde asked the werewolves. "Nothing." Willa answered, Wyatt and Wynter nodding in agreement.
