"Don't make me take this off! You don't want to see me zombie out." he threatened to the werewolves. Winona stared at her zombie friend.
After the werewolves growled at the zombie, he removed the bracelet and zombied out. "Wolves!" Willa commanded. Winona quickly ran towards the scene, placing herself between Zed and the werewolves to try and reason with him.
Instead, it ended with her being lifted up by the raging zombie, and thrown against the stone wall. "No, stop!" Addison yelled before placing the Z-band back on his wrist, turning him normal.
Wyatt ran towards the brunette, who was trying to sit up, clearly in pain. "I'm fine." She whispered, before he helped her stand. "Where does it hurt?" He asked quietly. "Everywhere." She answered, before they walked back to the rest, Winona having to hold on to Wyatt in order for her to keep her balance, while holding her right hand on the left side of her ribs.
"Zed! I want to be here!" Addison then said angrily. "What?" Zed asked confused. "But...but you texted 'Help!'." Bree said as she, Bonzo and Eliza appeared as well. "I needed help on the chemistry homework. Didn't you see the beaker emoji?" Addison explained. "Oh...I do now." she laughed awkwardly.
"By the way, I love this new look. New hairstylist?" she added, pointing at the new outfit that magically appeared on Addison during the song. "Werewolves, they know hair." Addison smiled. "And manicures." Wynter smiled after.
"They think I may be a werewolf too." Addison said to her boyfriend. "What? How?" Zed asked. "Maybe a grandparent. My hair means something. This could be my pack." she answered.
"For centuries, this has been set aside for the Great Alpha." Willa said, opening a small jewelry box where a necklace similar to the rest of the werewolves was glowing.
"A fully charged moonstone is priceless to us, Addison." Wyatt said sternly. "If you're truly one of us, when you put it on, you'll be transformed into a werewolf. Part of out pack, forever." Willa explained to the blonde.
"What? No! Wait." Zed said, taking everyone's attention. "Can I think about it?" Addison asked the werewolves. "For a day." Willa answered before giving the box to the blonde girl.
"Once you've joined us, you can lead us to the hidden moonstone." Wyatt said. "But she doesn't know where it is." Wynter added before explosions were heard.
The whole cave started shaking, forcing Winona to lose her balance as she lost the grip on Wyatt, but was caught by a female werewolf, who helped her stand again. After giving her a thankful smile, she joined the others. They ran to the opening of the cave before they all saw where the noise and shaking came from.
Bonzo pointed at the building that blinked of light while saying something in zombie. "Yeah. The explosion came from Seabrook Power." Zed translated. "They must be testing charges for the demolition tomorrow." Addison sighed.
"Seabrook Power is the birthplace of Zombies." Eliza explained to the werewolves. "A little lime soda mixed with some mysterious energy and bang! Zombies." Zed finished.
Zed's explanation woke up a thought in Winona's mind. Mysterious energy? Maybe that came from the moonstone they were looking for. Willa said earlier that the humans stole it when they first came to Seabrook, so maybe they dug it and forgot about it?
"Nice story, but that doesn't concern us." Willa said. "But it does concern you, Willa. Seabrook Power was fueled by a mysterious energy source." Winona started before Addison continued. "That could be your moonstone, Right?" Addison asked.
"She found the moonstone. She's Amazing!" Wyatt told his sister, making both Zed and Winona frown in sorrow. Winona was the one to mention it first, yet she didn't get any attention from the wolf she somehow wanted attention from. "We'll see you at school tomorrow, Addison." Willa said after a few moments of silence.
"Okay. Tomorrow. Big day." Addison smiled before she started walking away. Everyone started following except Winona, who leaned against the wall, her hand still on her ribs, while looking outside.
"Winnie, I'm so so sorry." Zed apologized. "It's fine, Zed, really. Just a couple of bruises. I'll be fine." Winona smiled. She could see in his eyes that he really meant the apology. "Please, if there's anything I can do to make it up to you." He said.
"Zed, it's fine, really. Go and talk to Addison." She smiled, before the zombie listened to her and left, but not without apologizing once again.
"If they destroy that building, it'll crush the moonstone underneath. We can't let that happen." Willa whispered to her brother. Neither of them realizing that Winona was present and could hear them.
"Addison can help." Wyatt defended. "Maybe once she's one of us. But until them, I lead this pack." She said angrily before speaking to everyone.
"We need to stop them from destroying the moonstone. Whatever it takes." She said before everyone howled. "I can help you." Winona said, taking their's attention.
"How?" Wyatt asked. "Because my dad and Zed's dad are the ones who controls the whole demolition." She explained. "Why would you go against your own family?" Willa asked.
"I'm not going against my family. I'm fighting for what I believe in. And my family is just... in my way." She smiled innocently.
Willa was about to say something, but stopped as the girl's phone made a noise. "My mom's looking for me so I have to go. Hopefully I will see you tomorrow." She said before she started leaving.
"Wait, before you go." Wyatt said, making her turn around. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. I've taken a few hits before. I'll just have a couple of bruises, no big deal. I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled before leaving.
Winona had a lot of thoughts from her conversation with the werewolves, but they were quickly interrupted by her parents' screaming voices from the kitchen as she entered the house.
She decided to ignore them and just went straight to her room, where she put on her headphones before going to bed, hopefully getting some hours of sleep.
