⚠️Trigger warning for those who have trauma from abuse from their father⚠️
"Ads, we can't sit here forever. We should watch Zed's speech." Eddie told her blond best friend as they sat on the bench in the same hall where the werewolves had left them a few minutes before.
"Addie, Eddie, are you okay?" Bree asked as she came and sat down next to the two girls. "I lost the necklace, Bree. I let the wolves down." Addison answered before an alarm started blaring.
"The Z-alarm?" Eddie asked as the three girls stood up. "Attention! Attention! Monster activity at Seabrook Power." a male voice announced.
"It's the werewolves. We need to help them. Bree, would you?" Addison asked the girl. "I will. I'm in. Always." she answered. "We can't do this alone. We need to rally the Z-team." Eddie said.
"No. Actually, we're gonna need everyone." Addison smiled. "Aye-aye, captain." Bree smiled to the blonde. "Come on!" Eddie said before the three girls got into action.
~~~~~~
"They'll destroy the moonstone. They'll destroy us." Eddie heard Willa say as they entered Seabrook Power. "We can't let them do this." She whispered to her blonde friend.
"No!" Addison yelled before joining in to the song the werewolves sang moments before, the cheer team following her. "Addison?" Eddie's father, along with Zed's and her own, said in unison.
Addison: "The wold has gone crazy and no one seems to listen. Gotta step in, no more maybes and stop the demolition. Is it hope or fear, look in the mirror, everything we've built is coming down."
Eddie: "No more hesitation, it's time we start to realize. With all this separation, silence is still taking sides, So use your voice, make a choice, and tell me are you standing with the crowd?"
Everyone: "Oooooh. This Is a declaration. Ooooooooh. Of our new generation. It's now or never, we're in this together, we'll fight through the highs and the lows. No, we won't break, we're more than flesh and bone. Aaaaaaay, we say no more bad blood, no more bad blood. Aaaaaaay, no way they can't stop us, no they can't stop us. Aaaaaaay, we say no more bad blood, no more bad blood. Aaaaaaay, no way they can stop us, no they can't stop us."
Zed: "History changes but we lost the pages we wrote. When you lose directions, can't see the reflection you know. We came from the bottom, then became the problem, now everything's out of control. So hey, are you with me? Let's go!"
Everyone: "Oooooooh! This is a declaration. Oooooooh! Of our new generation. It's now or never, we're in this together, We'll fight through the highs and the lows. No, we won't break we're more than flesh and bone."
Eddie stopped in the front, eyes to eyes with her father as they both glared daggers at each other. Everyone could see the tension between them and it didn't even break when Zed walked over to his dad next to them.
"You gotta stop the demolition, dad. I know how hard you worked to get this job. But if it's gonna hurt the werewolves, you have to stop it." He said. Eddie's father looked away from her and at his colleague.
"You're right. And Addison's right. Shut it down. Stop the detonation." Zevon commanded the workers. "Tomorrow, when it's safe, we'll find what you're looking for. But right now, you can all go home." He yelled to the teenagers before they all cheered.
Eddie's father grabbed her arm hard before pulling her angrily outside of the building, none of them realizing that Zed, Eliza, Bonzo, Bree, Addison, Willa, Wynter and Wyatt were following.
"You stupid child!" He yelled as he slapped her across the face. "I had to help them. I had to save the moonstone." Eddie defended herself while holding her cheek. "I can't believe I ever took you in." He snared. Eddie's heart shattered.
"What?" She asked quietly. "I never wanted you! Look at yourself! You're a freak! A disgrace!" He yelled. "I never should've let my wife change my mind about taking you in. I knew you were trouble from the moment your freak mother handed you to us!" He screamed.
Eddie stared at him, tears in her eyes. All this time, she had been told she was left on their doorstep, but here he was, telling her that she was handed to them by her original parents.
"What did I ever do to you?" Eddie asked angrily. "You came to us! That's what you did! My wife forced me to take care of you and act like you were my own. I never should have let such a freak enter my house!" He yelled.
"But, dad." Eddie tried to say, but was quickly cut off. "I'm not your dad! Your dad didn't want you and I can clearly see why!" Her father yelled at her. "I want you out of my house by midnight or I will throw you out myself." He threatened before walking away from her.
"Eddie." Addison said slowly. "Don't." Eddie said as she turned around to look at her friends. "Why bother? It's not like it's the first time anyways." She said with a small laugh. Addison knew very well how much her best friend was hurting, so without saying anything, she wrapped her arms around the brunette.
Eddie hugged her back while letting a few tears fall. Addison let go before grabbing the girl's cheeks and smiling, whiping away a tear with her thumb. "You will always be perfect to me." She smiled. "Thank you." Eddie whispered back before whipping her face and looking at the rest.
"Hey! We did it, we stopped the demo!" She smiled happily, making the rest smile at her. "What's wrong?" Addison asked as she looked at her boyfriend.
"Addison. I'm gonna lose the election, which means I can't take you to Prawn." He said sadly. "There goes two costumers." Eddie mumbled to Eliza. The werewolves, who had heard her, looked at her weirdly.
"That's okay, Zed. We can not go to Prawn together." She smiled. He looked over at their friends before back at his girlfriend. He then pulled out the moonstone necklace that Addison had lost, from his pocket.
"He found it!" The blonde smiled to the wolves before hugging her boyfriend. "Thank you." she smiled. "What?" She asked as she realized he wasn't happy.
"I took it. I stole it when you weren't looking." He admitted. "I thought I lost it." Addison mumbled. "I questioned myself." She said louder and angrier.
"Addison, I'm sorry. I was afraid that if you turned into a wolf, I'd lose you." He said. "You don't get to make that choice for me!" She yelled. "But a werewolf?" He asked.
"I finally find where I belong, and you try to steal that from me? Why would I ever go to Prawn with you after what you did?" She asked hurt before stepping away from him.
She then put on the necklace while standing with her back facing the others, before turning around and standing face to face with Eddie, trying to look like a wolf.
