Chapter 7

The Weekend...

Another weekend meant Y/N was back on the road for live events. He loved whenever he got the chance to wrestle. It helped him improve and he enjoyed putting a smile on fans' faces.

However, even before the live events, his weekend was already off to a great start.

That's because yesterday, Friday, he found a movie theater in the town they are in. He was able to catch the new 'The Batman' movie on its opening weekend. A movie he had been looking forward to for a while.

He also had someone join him to watch the movie.

That person being Gionna. Y/N had asked her if she wanted to accompany him. With Gionna inviting him a couple weeks ago, he saw it as a way to repay her offer with his own.

So like on Valentine's Day, the pair of friends watched a movie together.

But that was yesterday.

Today is Saturday and Y/N is up relatively early, wanting to take advantage of the hotel's breakfast offering. He's only looking to get a small portion, as he wants to get in a workout before the house show in the evening.

Dressed in his workout clothes, he heads out of his room and to the elevator. As the elevator is heading to the lobby, his phone begins to ring. He answers it and puts it to his ear. "Hey Gi, good morning."

"Good morning! What are ya up to?"

"Heading to the lobby for some breakfast." Y/N replies.

"No invite? I'm hurt Y/N." Gionna playfully says.

"I didn't think you'd be up honestly, but you're welcome to join me." He begins. "Oh, I'm also hitting the gym after if you want to get a workout in too."

"Ooo, sounds good. I just need to get ready. I'll see ya down there in a bit! Bye Y/N!"

Y/N bids his farewell and walks out of the elevator as the doors open. Heading to the breakfast area, he sees some other WWE stars there. He greets the few and goes to get his breakfast. With his food obtained, he sits and begins eating while also scrolling on his phone.

"Y/N!"

Y/N looks up from his phone and is greeted with the sight of Gionna. He takes notice of her attire and it confirms that she will be joining him to the gym. "Ah there's my gym bro." He replies.

"Wow! We haven't even worked out yet and I'm already your gym bro. I'm flattered." Gionna says teasingly while sitting down across Y/N. "Well it's an honor to be my gym bro so you should be flattered." He jokes. "What are you hitting anyway?" Y/N ends with a question to the platinum blonde.

"Hmm, I guess whatever you're doing." She answers with a shrug. "But then next time I'll be leading the workout." Gionna ends with a smirk. "That's if you can make it through today." Y/N responds with a smirk of his own. This causes Gionna to narrow her eyes at him.

"Nah just kidding, we're just gonna hit arms today. Shouldn't be too hard." He says going for another bite of his scrambled eggs.

"Sounds exciting! I'm gonna get some food, be back in a bit." Gionna quickly says as she gets up to get some food.

Y/N continues eating as she leaves and Gionna rejoins him when she returns with breakfast of her own. The two make conversation as they eat their workout fuel. The pair eventually finish eating and make their way to Y/N's rental car.

They get in and Y/N starts to make his way to a local gym. During the ride, Y/N sees the way Gionna is sitting, her laying back with her shoes on the dashboard.
