Gionna woke up in bed a few minutes past 9 AM. If it was any other Saturday she would've slept in. Especially now that she's recovering from her injury.
But it wasn't any other Saturday, the Night of Champions premium live event was today, and with the event being in Saudi Arabia, it would be starting at noon with the time zone difference.
She also woke to a text from Y/N that let her know his match was first on the card. Regardless, she still wanted to get up a few hours before the show to get in a cardio session, shower and eat a good breakfast, and be ready for a friend to come over.
After a stretch she replied to her boyfriend with a picture and message.

She got out of bed and went into the bathroom. She did her necessities and changed into workout attire. Around fifteen minutes later she walked downstairs and was greeted by Spirit. Gionna bent down and pet the excited dog.
"Hi baby! Good morning!"
Spirit wagged her tail and put her front paws up on her owner's knees, licking Gionna's chin. Gionna kissed Spirit's head and gave her some more pets before she stood up.
