Friday...
Puerto Rico had been a great time so far. Throughout the week Y/N and Gionna enjoyed the beautiful beaches of the island during the day. At night they explored the lively city streets.
Earlier in the day Y/N was at the Backlash press conference. Y/N and Colby had another war of words to hype up their match for the premium live event. While Gionna did her part in another WWE Community event.
Currently, Smackdown is live from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico. The WWE Universe had already been loud and passionate throughout the night.
The same was to be expected for the following night for Backlash. The premium live event was set to be hosted by the global superstar Bad Bunny. The music star would also be involved in a match.
A backstage segment where Alexa ambushed Liv while the champion talked to other superstars had just happened. Bliss's surprise attack concluded with a DDT onto the concrete floor.
The segment ended with Alexa holding the Smackdown Women's championship over the champion. The Goddess was back at full force.
"I got to hand it to you Lexi, you look back in your element." Y/N said.
"Thanks Y/N." Alexis smiled. "It feels so good to be back as the Goddess."
The two women involved in the last segment and Y/N were hanging around backstage.
"I love this for you too Lex. This match is going to be a lot of fun." Gionna chimed in.
"So this match between you two." Y/N began, gaining the attention of the two. "Is it also a custody of Y/N match?"
He expected a laugh or giggle from his joke, but the two blondes stared at him with unimpressed looks. Gionna rolled her eyes as well.
"Is it still too soon?" He asked, regretting his words.
Alexis sighed and shook her head. "No, it's actually good to know you can make jokes about that situation. Even though they're terrible."
He chuckled at her diss and shrugged. "I think enough time has passed. It's better not to look back on what happened with regret and guilt."
"Finally some wise words hon." Gionna giggled and turned to Alexis. "And he's right Lex. You better not still be feeling guilty about it."
"I'm not." Alexis cracked a smile. "You guys handled that so well and I'm thankful for it. Next time you guys are in Orlando, we can go to Disney on me."
"Ooo, yes!" Gionna replied.
"Sounds good." Y/N said as well.
"Alright well I'll see you guys later." Alexis bid farewell with a wave.
It left Gionna and Y/N alone. With Gionna done with her part for the night, they enjoyed the rest of the show backstage.
"Come on Y/N. We're all going to get it. Don't be a wuss." Demi nudged him.
"Alright, alright. Chill out." Y/N replied with a laugh.
