Monday Night Raw...
"Your winner of the match...Jordan Pierce!"
Jordan's hand is raised declaring him the victor. Earlier in the show, a backstage segment showed Jordan asking WWE official Adam Pearce for a match on tonight's show. Claiming he wanted to get rid of the sour taste of losing the triple threat match out of his mouth.
Pearce granted him his wish and Jordan won the match. He doesn't overly celebrate the victory, still upset about not capturing the United States title.
He's about to exit the ring when he's stopped.
Finn walks to the ring as Jordan stands against the turnbuckles to await what the Irishman is out for.
Bálor enters the ring and grabs a microphone. "Congratulations on your victory." He begins. Jordan simply nods at his words.
"Now I don't want to keep you long. So to keep it simple, I'm out here to apologize for my actions after last night's match. I was frustrated from losing my title. Especially at you since you stopped me from retaining the title. But that's besides the point. So we good?" Finn ends, offering a handshake.
Jordan pushes himself off the turnbuckles and approaches Bálor. He switches his gaze from Bálor's eyes to his outstretched hand, and back to his eyes.
It seems as if Jordan may not accept his apology. But eventually Jordan shakes Bálor's hand out of respect he has for the experienced wrestler. Bálor nods and thanks him for understanding. The handshake is released and Finn goes to leave the ring.
However before he can, he's interrupted.
Edge, Damian Priest, and the newly aligned Rhea Ripley walk down the stage and stop in front of the ring. Each had a microphone in hand. Edge wears a smirk as he raises the microphone to his lips.
"He were are again gentlemen. However, unlike a couple of weeks ago, the United States championship seems to be gone from your waist Finn. You also don't seem to be the United States champion Jordan. These are things that could've been different if you had accepted our offer those weeks ago." Edge starts.
"But that's in the past. And so is your rejection of our offer. So tonight Finn, we are extending our last chance to join The Judgment Day. And...and you know what? Your attack on Damian is also bridge under the water Jordan. This offer to join us is also for you. So what will it be?" Edge ends.
Of the two men extended Edge's offer, Jordan is the first to respond. Having grabbed a microphone as well.
"Man, what happened to you, Edge? You're a legend, a Hall of Famer. You were an inspiration to my career. Yet here you are, creating a group to help you beat another legend in AJ Styles. If the circumstances were different, I wouldn't hesitate to align myself with you Edge. But this is a falloff from the Rated R Superstar. My answer is no."
Edge's face twitches in anger. He turns his attention to Finn and awaits his answer.
"I couldn't have said it better myself Jordan. My answer still hasn't changed. I ain't joining you!" Finn answers.
