It was a somber ride back to the hotel. Backlash had ended and so had Gionna's time in the trainer's office. From initial testing the diagnosis was a tear in her left shoulder. Whether Gionna would need surgery or not would be determined on Monday at Raw.
She had shed many tears at the news of her injury. It affected Y/N as well. It hurt seeing his girlfriend how she was.
Currently they arrived back to their hotel room. Gionna walked in first with an arm sling around her injured arm.
She stopped in front of the bed and dropped her stuff. It pained Y/N to see and he walked up to her. He turned her around and pulled her into a tight but careful hug.
"I'm sorry Gi."
She didn't verbally reply. Instead she wrapped her good arm around his body and further buried her face into his chest.

Gionna began to cry again as Y/N felt her tears penetrate his shirt. He ran one hand through her hair while the other moved along her back. In this tough time, he just continued to provide comfort with his embrace.
Usually he looked forward to Monday's for Raw. However he couldn't help but feel anxious for this upcoming Monday.

Monday...
Y/N nervously bounced his leg. He listened and watched as the WWE's head doctor checked on Gionna. It was hours before Raw yet this felt like the biggest moment of the day.
"Alright Gionna." The doctor began. "The good news is that it is a slight tear. You won't need surgery."
Both Gionna and Y/N breathed a sigh of relief.
"So how long will I be out for?" She asked with hope.
"Even though it was a small tear, it's still going to take a while to heal." The doctor answered.
Good news always came with bad news and his words hit Gionna like a truck. She looked down at her feet and Y/N looked at the doctor.
"How long will she be out for?"
The doctor looked at his notes. "Recovery time is three to six months."
Tears pooled in Gionna's eyes as the doctor went over rehab options for her while she was out. He talked for a few more minutes before he left to let Triple H know the news.
