Monday Night Raw...
Four weeks away from Royal Rumble...

The first Monday Night Raw of 2023 started off with the Bloodline wreaking havoc around ringside and claiming they ran the show.

Throughout the rest of the show, Bianca Belair defended her Raw Women's championship against Alexa Bliss, and the Bloodline took on Kevin Owens and the Street profits.

The main event was now just minutes away. In the main event, Jordan Pierce would defend his United States championship against Seth Rollins. Rollins was the victor of a number one contenders match against Bobby Lashley during the Raw after Judgment Day.

A match where Pierce didn't interfere after the consequences of last time.

To Seth, Pierce stole his chance of winning the U.S. title at Judgment Day, but now it was a one on one match. Rollins was not going to let this opportunity pass by again.

"WOAH, WOAH, WOAH!"

The sound of the WWE Universe singing Seth Rollins's theme song filled the arena. The Visionary was close to winning the United States title after his signature superplex and falcon arrow combo.

All Seth needed was a stomp and he would win the gold. Pierce slowly got in position for the stomp and Seth charged. The champion wasn't about to lose his title, rolling out of the stomp attempt.

Rollins turned to a now standing Pierce and ate a superkick. The champion added a stiff forearm, jumping knee, and ended with a German suplex to Rollins.

Seth rolled out of the ring as a result of the offense against him. It didn't give Rollins any time to recover however as Pierce dove through the ropes with a suicide dive. It sent Seth's back into the announce table.

Jordan continued by throwing Seth over the announce table, sending Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves scattering. Pierce rolled into the ring and told the referee to count in hope for a count out win.

The referee was halfway to ten and Rollins was yet to be seen. At six, Seth pulled himself onto the table. He then rolled over it onto the floor at seven. At eight and nine Rollins didn't move.

Finally at ten, Seth shot off the floor and into the ring to beat the referee's count. Pierce was frustrated but approached the downed challenger. Rollins lured him in and rolled up Pierce.

It nearly won Rollins the match but Pierce escaped the predicament. Both men got to their feet with Pierce throwing a right. Rollins blocked, hit his own forearm, and struck with a hangman's elbow.
