Screams and shouting.
That's what I hear. I don't see anything, just hearing.
A voice. A man. Familiar voice.
Oh, I know you're just scared.
I was scared once too.
I know what it's like....to be different.
To be alone in this world.
I hear whimpers from someone before silence again.
"Hello?" I say into darkness.
"Hello?"
I hear soft repetitive sounds. Ticking of a clock. The clock.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
A chime.
Another voice rings this time. Rough, dark, evil....Vecna.
I see you've been looking for me, Nancy.
Nancy?
You were so close.
So close to the truth.
How was old, blind, dumb Victor.
Did he miss me?
I see red this time. Clouds, lightning. An area that looks like Max's drawing. "Nancy?" I call out. I try taking a step. It works. I can move around. I walk slowly into the area, looking behind pillars or anything.
I've been meaning to check back in, but I've been busy.
I walk closer, seeing a figure. A familiar shirt. "Nancy?" I ask. She turns, seeing me. "Y/N?" I walk closer before stopping. Or, more like, my legs stop. "What the..." I turn my head and instead, am met with a pillar containing an all too familiar, dead figure.
So very busy.
"Nancy!" I call out. She looks at me again, whimpering. "Y/N, help!" She shouts.
Y/N....
That sounds....familiar.
I feel a gush of wind before the voice speaks again.
You...I've seen you before.
You're....connected.
"Fuck off." I say, glaring at nothing.
Tell me. How is Max?
"Stay away from her, asshole!" I shout.
You seem.....fun.
I close my eyes, trying to use my mind to push Nancy's out. "Come on..." I mutter before hearing Vecna shout. "How did you do that?" I open my eyes and see that Nancy is gone now. It's just me. "Hell yeah." I say, grinning.
No One pov
Nancy's eyes fly open as she gasps. "Nancy!" Steve shouts, hugging her. "I.." She says before he nods at the rope. "Climb through first. It's not safe here." He says.
Once Nancy and Steve make their way through, he turns to her. "What happened?" He asks. Nancy sputters as everyone but Max watches. "Vecna pulled me into something. I was in...a pool with Barbara's...body." She says. "But then Y/N came into the world and did...something." She says before looking around. "Where's Y/N?" She asks. The others turn, looking behind them where she is sat as Max looks up, wary. "She's still in there."
"No..." Robin says as Y/N's eyes open slowly. But they're not clear, they're fogged over and she's staring into nothing. "This is how you two looked." Steve says, meaning Max and Nancy. "Shit, Vecna has her."
