Victoria's POV:
I woke up to the birds chirping quite loudly and realized I left my window open. Shoot. I get up to close it and look at the castle, I have to get inside that thing. I picked up my bag from the ground and took out my sketchbook, as I sorted thru the bag I realized something was missing. My pencil! There's no getting that back.
I got myself ready and went downstairs to talk to father, "Could I go into town for a bit? I need to pick up a few things," I beg. "For what?" he questions. "Fruit, chocolate, more art stuff," he sighs and moves his glasses to the top of his head. "Yes, just be back by sundown. Please," I nod and head out on my way.
I went into town, my black dress flew in the wind wonderfully and my black hair shined in the sun. I walked past vendors who tried to get me to their booths but I wanted to stay on track. I went to the fruit vendors and picked the expensive things I knew my sister would like. I also got chocolate near by.
Next stop was the art store, I did have to walk a little while but the weather was nice but a little cloudy. I stepped into the shop and not even shop keeper was there, not a soul in sight. I thought it was a little strange but I looked thru the store picking a couple things up. I looked out the window and saw it was now pouring rain.
"Are you kidding me? It was just sunny!" I say annoyed with Mother Nature. I continue to look through the aisles to waste time but then I was startled. I screamed because a strange man stood over my shoulder. It wasn't anyone I was familiar with. "May I...help you?" I ask. "In your opinion, what kind of pencils do you like to use? I'm in need for a new one," the strange man was rather short, covered in tattoos which I wasn't used to seeing, and had hair that went to his chin.
"Oh, yes! This," I show him the pencil. He nods, "I don't think there's anything super special about -," I was then cut off. "It's very special," he smirked and took one from the shelf. "Thank you, miss," he said and then walked away. He turned the corner and I followed after, he disappeared. I only saw the shop keeper at the desk.
I looked around confused but went to check out anyway. I got close to him to whisper, "Did you see that guy with the tattoos and silk shirt? I've never seen him here before.." the shop keeper looked at me with confusion. "I thought you were the only person here!" he puts his hands on his hips with shock on his face.
"I was robbed! Did you see what he took?" He scoffed. "A pencil, he asked me what kind I use, that was it though," I say hoping that'll make the situation better. "I'll forgive him for now, let me get you checked out."

The rain passed quickly and I went walked to the river side, it was peaceful there. I sat next to the river and lied in the grass staring at the sky. I closed my eyes and prayed, "God, if you're really listening please get me out of this town. Amen," I struggled with my faith but always tried to pray because I wanted to believe deep down.
I was soon disrupted by a man. Why can't they leave me alone?! He was tall, a bit muscular, and had long curly hair. He approached, "What brings you here?" I stared for a minute as he stood under the shade, he looked sickly pale. "Oh uh, it brings me peace and lets me get away from my family," I look around to see no one around but us.
He nodded, "It's nice. Do you believe in God?" When he looked at me I felt like daggers were burning into my chest. "Not really, no. I just pray because I WANT to believe but...it's hard, " I sigh trying to avoid eye contact with him. He doesn't say much, "Well, I'm gonna go. My dad is probably looking for me," I say while getting up and brushing the grass off my dress.
I start to walk away and I look back and the man is gone. I shake my head and walk through the town.

I get home and greeted by my angry father. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He yelled. "I told you, I was getting fruit and chocolate! I was also at the art shop, ask Vince!" I always defend myself. "Last night Victoria Blackwood! Who do you think you are sneaking out into the night?" She did not tell me. No way!
"Alice! Get your ass over here!" I yell stomping down the hallway. "Why did you tell dad?! I got what you asked for but still told him?!" Alice smirks and giggles. "Don't yell at your sister! Tell me, where did you go?"
"Why do you care? I wasn't hurt and I came back home, just be glad I did come back home." I yell and push past my father into my room. I lock the door and cry into my sheets. "You're grounded! You are not to leave the house for a week. We've nailed the window shut so you can't get out." My father yelled through the door.
Great.
