A/N: Sorry for not updating in a while I was really depressed and didn't want to write but I'm back!
Gerard's POV:
I paced around my office rubbing my hands together out of nervousness. Today was the day that I was going to introduce Vic to my mother. I'd check on her occasionally and each time I did she never appeared nervous. She was quite excited and wanted to look her best so I let her have a spa day to herself.
I set up a dinner in the grand dining room. I used my prettiest silverware and got new candles for the table. Frank came to check on me, "What do you want?" I said kinda snappy. "Woah dude, attitude much?" he said. "Sorry, I'm just..nervous," I said sighing. "You're overreacting, they're gonna get along fine! Vic is such a lovable woman," I looked at him weird for that comment. "Not like that," he said clearing things up.

Victoria's POV:
I got dressed in my finest dress, leaving my hair pin straight which touched my butt. I sprayed myself with perfume and met with Gerard in his office. I walked up behind him while he stared out the dark window, I interlinked arms with him. "What's wrong?" I whispered.
"Nothing, darling. Don't worry, but are you ready?" he smiled and I nodded. We walked to the dining room and before we entered he stopped me, making me face him. "I love you, I know you'll make a good impression," he said lovingly, playing with my hair. I whispered, "I love you too."
Gerard opened the doors and his mother sat at the table waiting patiently. I really hope she wasn't waiting too long. "My son! Hello!" She got up rather quickly and he kissed her hand. I smiled brightly and she embraced. "It's so good to finally meet you, Vic," she said with deep sincerity in her eyes.
"I'm so happy to finally meet you, mom?" I had no idea what I was supposed to call her. "Call me mom! So, what was it about my son that made you want to change your entire life for him?" she asked while eating her food.
"Well, he's extremely charming. He's gentle, loving, caring, I could go on. But, in reality I was the one who really wanted this change from the beginning," she looked at me surprised. "Well then, you two seem great together then!"
I felt proud of myself for this. It was clear that I made a good impression already. "What was your home life like if I may ask?" she said. I froze contemplating my answer, "Mom, don't ask such questions yet," Gerard asks.
"No no, It's okay. Uhh- my family is quite powerful in this area and they weren't very nice to me. I also wanted to get away and pursue my dreams," I said looking down at the table. It got oddly quiet until I could hear Gerard's voice in my head.
She was murdered by the government so this is a touchy subject for her. Don't worry just try not to bring it up again. Okay?
He then looked at me and I nodded. "Mom, how was Gerard as a kid?" I try to start up a good conversation. She goes on and on about how Gerard and Mikey were. Then goes on about Ray and Frank, talking about how they'd always come over and cause chaos.
The dinner was over and we escorted her outside where a portal opened, before she went through she waved goodbye. I let out a sigh of relief when the portal closed, "I love your mom but my god that was stressful," I say walking back to our room.
"She definitely likes you, you did good," he said smiling proudly. "My sweet angel," he cupped my face and kissed me. When he kissed me it was like I fell in love all over again. It was sparks each time.

It has been a few hours since we both went to bed and I laid there wide awake. I wore black silk pajamas and sat up sighing. I looked at Gerard and saw him move but not waking up. I go to the kitchen to make myself a tea and I stir it without touching the spoon.
I stopped what I was doing, "What do you want?" I said annoyed. I turned around to see no one there, "Stop fucking with me Frank!" I knew it had to be him I felt in the room somewhere. I see a human like lump in the curtains and I chuckle ripping them open.
Not there. I turn around and there he stood in my face, I managed to not scream but I closed my eyes and huffed. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I said with an attitude. "Why are YOU awake," he poked my forehead. "Don't do that freak. What do you want?" I demanded.
"Are you gonna help me finish this kill job or what?" he said trying to coax me. "Not in a million years buck-o," I said, turning on my heels to walk away. "What is your problem Vic? Okay I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you," he whined.
"I'll help you tomorrow Frankie, I promise," I sincerely said. Shit, forgot my tea. I grabbed that and headed back to my room. I quickly finished my tea and laid down, I faced Gerard but he faced away from me.
I gently rubbed my hand on his back, I heard him groan and face me. The moon lit up his face just right. I rubbed his face with my thumb, "My handsome man," I whispered. I saw him softly grin which made me giggle. "What're you doing up so late?" he asked pulling me closer.
"Couldn't sleep," I simply replied. "Tell the truth," he said, placing a kiss on my forehead. "I can't stop thinking about our wedding, I don't even know what I want Gerard," I buried my head into his chest inhaling his cold scent.
"I can have that taken care of, love. All you need to do is pick out a dress. Now rest your weary eyes," he said softly pulling the covers over me.
"I love you," I smiled.
