Victoria's POV:
I woke up to the sound of someone talking loudly, "The fuck?" I whisper to myself. I got out of bed and opened the door to see no one around. I walk out and hear screaming, I look out the window and see men from town. Guns drawn and knives out. "Oh my god," I whisper, covering my mouth.
Go to my office. The book shelf will be open for you, hurry.
I fly to the office and hear voices getting closer. I make it the book shelf and it closes behind me. My chest moved fast as I tried to catch my breath. I look around for any of the guys and don't see anyone around. "Hello?!"I call out but to no avail, no answer.
This can't be happening, it can't. I just need to know if they're safe or not. Before I yell out for them once again an unknowing person covers my mouth and drags me into the darkness. "Shhh, you're okay. It's just me, Ray," I un-tensed my body as I go to hit him in the chest out of frustration. "Your punching does nothing!" he whispers yells at me.
"Where the fuck are the rest of you?!" I demand. He sighs, "They're taking care of it and asked me to keep you safe." Does Gerard know I can defend myself right? Yeah I was scared shitless but let me fight! Let me reclaim my power!
"You either let me out of here or.." I stutter on my words, unable to come up with a proper threat. "Or what?" he crosses his arms. I huff and open the book shelf, I turn around and wave to the frantic Ray trying to get me to stay.
I fly back downstairs and stay in my bat form to keep watch, men ran all over the vast castle.
Men screamed, "Where the fuck are they?!"
"We know you took Victoria! Hand her over or pay the consequences!" another one screamed.
I flew down a long dark hallway, trying to find Gerard. I went back into my normal form and stood at the end of the hallway. One of the men handed a torch to the leader and lit up the hallway to see me, standing at the end. They collectively gasped in shock and horror to see the once living perfect girl they knew.
I screamed as loud as I could, piercing their eardrums causing the weak men to shrivel and fall to the floor in pain. I rushed to the smaller crowd, fangs drawn, teeth drawn, ready to attack. I grabbed the leader digging my nails into his wrists so he couldn't attack, basically ridding him of any function of his hands.
I sunk my teeth into his neck and released, showing off the limp corpse in my arms. I threw him to the ground ripping his chest apart. Only half of the group ran, leaving behind a few men. I stepped closer, their weapons drawn. They wouldn't hurt me, they were too scared. Plus, how would they explain to my family that they actually killed me?
Before I could do what I wanted to I saw the familiar faces that I can proudly say I call family. Each person had their own "prey". At once like a symphony we lunged. Ripping their faces apart to be unrecognizable. I still didn't find Gerard though, it had me worried sick about him.
Frank embraced me in a hug, "Are you hurt?" he asked. "I'm fine. I'm the one who got them out of here quick enough, where's Gerard?" I was a little upset that they were just letting them run through the castle and not actively doing anything. I looked at them waiting for a response, "Well?!" I yell.
"Dungeon," Frank whispers, avoiding eye contact. I flew down to the dungeon banging on the doors as hard as I could, "GERARD!?" I yelled. I heard shuffling behind the door, Gerard cracks it open. I tried rushing in the door but his body stopped me. "Hi darling! Are you..alright?" he said staring up and down at my bloody body.
He acted so oblivious it pissed me off, "Where the fuck have you been?" I said seething. I heard a man groan and yell my name in the distance. "Dad?!" I yelled pushing Gerard out of the way. "Mi amor, please," he said pulling me. I gave him the look and he backed off.
There I stood face to face with my own father. His face was badly beaten, "Victoria..please," he begged. "Are you the one who did all this?" I asked him. "That doesn't matter right now Vic, please let me go," he cried out. "I asked you a question, did you or did you not?" I raised my voice. "I did but I never wanted to hurt you, I didn't even know you were here!" he said.
"Then why were you here?" I demanded. "They killed our people Victoria. Did you not hear about it?" he said teary eyed. "That was me," I said on the edge of crying. The look of despair on his face was defeating but I had to stay strong, for me. He shook his head no repeatedly.
"My daughter isn't a killer, no no," he said. "I am not your daughter, not anymore. I was never dead, that body you found? Random person. My dream has came true, I'm finally in a place where I'm happy and treated as good as ever," I smiled letting the tears fall.
I knew what had to be done but I didn't have the guts to do it yet. Gerard came to my side and comforted me, the look on my fathers face was confusion. I turned towards him, "Now let me and my husband rest in peace," I said through my teeth.
Gerard handed me a knife and I raised it above my fathers head. He stared up and tried to plead with me. I slammed the knife into his head, pulling it out and repeatably stabbed. Blood splattered on my face as I angrily plunged the knife into his face.
His eyes falling out, his teeth pushed around, completely unrecognizable. I fell the floor as my arms were tired and the emotions became too overwhelming. I screamed at my dead fathers body as Gerard picked me up carrying me to our bedroom.
~^~^~^~^
As Gerard brought Victorias body to their bedroom to run a bath for her the others dragged her fathers body to the highest point of the castle that overlooked town. The guys pulled his body over the window and pushed it out.
The town went into hysterics. The people were petrified but ready to put-up a fight. Their men were dead and now one of their biggest politicians. There was a mass funeral held for everyone passed a couple days later.
Gerard knew it wasn't safe and they had to get out of there soon.
