Victoria's POV:
I woke up sore and cold and heard whispering around me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, which my vision was quite blurry for a few seconds. I look around me and see how I'm surrounded by the guys. "W-why are you guys staring at me?" I question looking visibly confused.
"Are you feeling alright darling?" Gerard asks worriedly. "I feel fine just cold and my neck..kinda hurts..." the memories from the night started to flood my mind. I can't believe I did that, holy shit. I actually went through with it?! I'm not mad just surprised I could actually do it.
"How does it feel to be one of us now?" Frank joins in excitedly, he has a big grin on his face. "Um..can you guys just let me and Gerard be for a second?" I ask politely grabbing Gerard's hand tightly.
They leave us alone and I immediately ask him, "Am I...a vampire now?" He giggles, "Yes darling you are, well, you have a few more days." What does he mean few more days? I thought it happened immediately? "Few more days?"
"Few more days just to feel the full effect. But are you ready to join us on our first feeding?" gerard smiled brighter and wider than I had ever seen, there was a look of eagerness on his face. "Uh sure!" I said trying to sound as excited as he was. But, I was just scared of the unknown. I knew I needed to eat in order to survive since "human food" no longer sustained me.
We got to the hallway and I noticed all of the windows were covered by heavy curtains. "Why are they all covered?" I asked curiously. "You're literally a vampire...you're gonna be sensitive to it for a while so we had to do it," right. That was a pretty stupid question that I could feel him silently judging me.
"One more question, when will I be able to fly around? And be able to float around so I don't have to walk?" he sighed. "Darling, I know you're impatient and quite curious but you need to wait. It's going to take time," I better shut up now before he starts to get upset with me. I had so many more to ask too.

We get to the dining room and everyones already sitting down. I walk to my side that I always sat and just wait for directions. This felt like the first time that I had dinner with them, nervous but excited. Gerard brought out the maids and sat the dishes right in front of us. They all stared at me which I didn't like.
Everyone besides Gerard "ate" their meals. "It's simple, just lift and drink," he said having me do it with him. "It might taste a bit strange at first but you'll grow to love it," I wanted to stop stalling and just took the drink. It did have that weird metallic taste but it made a new hunger grow inside of me.
I started to grow tired again and asked Gerard to carry me to bed, he agreed. "Where are you taking me?" he wasn't taking me to my room but to his. Without responding I was able see into his mind for that moment, it freaked me out. Was I slowly gaining my abilities?
I think Gerard knew as-well and looked at me, "Look at you, my sweet girl. I'm so excited for this journey ahead." He made me grow nervous, but in a good way. He was so charming, how could you not want to stay with him forever?
He brought me up to his room and sat me in his bed covering me with the blankets. He turned on a few lamps for me and asked me if I wanted anything and I asked for my books. He retrieved them in seconds time and left me be.
I sat for a couple hours doodling and reading until I heard whispers. I looked around and called out but got no reply. The whispers got louder and I was able to slightly make them out,
"I wonder how she's feeling..." a male voice said who I'm assuming was Mikey.
"You've got yourself a pretty one!" that voice didn't sound familiar at all.
"My son! Now when do you guys get married? When can I meet her?" an excited female said. Is that his mother?!
"Mama, she is not ready yet. No need to rush," Gerard said.
I started to get a bit overwhelmed so I tried to tune them out by turning on some light classical music and close my eyes.

Victoria's POV:
I was awoken by something unfamiliar, I opened my eyes and I seemed slightly closer to the ceiling than usual. I try reaching for the blankets but when I can't touch them I panic and end up falling into the mattress. Was I floating?
My chest raised up and down quickly. I would appreciate it if my body would let me do things on my own! Gerard entered the room shortly after, "Are you alright? I heard some commotion." He started getting undressed putting on comfy clothes.
"Gerard? I heard what your mom said," I wanted to bring up. He turned to me surprised, "You heard it all?" I shook my head no, "Only the marriage part."
He sighed, "My mother can be a bit..over the top. I want you to gain full ability before you're able to meet her." But why? She seems like a nice person.
He laid next to me in bed, "I'm sorry this is taking so long," he said brushing my hair out of my face. "It's okay, It's all worth it in the end. I never knew my life would take such a drastic turn. I thought I'd be dead or off living in a different country by now," I giggled to myself.
"Dead? Dark," he said with a soft smile. "Yeah, my parents instilled so much fear into me that I'd be kidnapped or killed in the street by a weirdo," I turned to the ceiling reminiscing on old times. "A bit weird to be instilling that much fear into a child, right?" he said a little concerned.
"Probably, but they'd probably think doing what I'm doing now is even more dangerous," we both laughed about it knowing how safe I truly was here. Who knew living with 4 vampires would be safer than living with your parents.
