Gerard's POV:

After I left her room I immediately went to mine to get some good sleep. As I slept my dreams progressively got worse and worse. Until they started to become too real and something felt off, I got visions of Victoria. I tossed and turned in bed as the visions got worse, I saw scratches, rocks, a stake, running, a familiar face of a man I've encountered before.

I sat up and flew through the halls outside. Victoria was in danger and I had to save her. I flew into the trees hearing screams of terror, I got my eyes on him. I swooped down to pull her away  from him so she can run to safety. I take the man by his limbs ripping them to shreds and draining his body of  any blood that remained.

I will never let someone hurt her again.

Victoria's POV:

I waddled myself up to my room basically bringing everything that was at my desk into my bed. I put together papers and wrote out paragraphs about my time here. I felt like I was putting  together my own story book. I spent a few hours alone doing such and also reading.

My door swung open, "Victoria! Are you okay?" Gerard says worried. "I'm okay, I'll take a broken toe over getting stabbed to death," I try laughing it off. He smiles, "Do you mind if I sit with you for a little bit?"

"I don't mind at all, hop in," I smile while my cheeks flushed an embarrassing shade of red. I scooted over and held up the sheets for him. "What're you working on?" he puts his head on my shoulder. "The book about my time here so far, It's been quite insightful. Thank you," he reaches to what I thought was the papers but grabbed my book. The one I stole basically.

"Romeo and Juliet...Nice." he reads. I just hope he doesn't recognize where I got it from. I blush and he reaches his hand to rub my cheek with this finger, "You're getting so red, sweetheart." He leans in closer almost laying on top of me.

*BAM*

Frank  comes slamming the door open scaring us both. "They're looking for you," Frank says handing me a newspaper with my name and face plastered all over it. "What are you two love birds doing huh?" he teases while giggling. Gerard rolls his eyes.

I read the paper out loud, "politicians daughter gone missing...kidnapped by vampire?! I wasn't kidnapped! Tell them to stop looking for me." I was annoyed and angry. If only the people knew what happened behind the scenes. "I'll be back," Gerard said hurrying out of the room.

"I'm watching you two..." Frank says doing the 'I'm looking at you' finger eye thing.

Gerard's POV:

"MIKEY!!!"  I yell finding him in the kitchen which was odd. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Oh uh, I was making cookies for Vic.." that was sweet of him. But also why? "That's sweet of you but I need a favor my precious brother," I say in a sweet voice and clasp my hands together. He sighs, "What is it this time?"

I explain to him that I want him to go into town and trick the people into thinking she's dead, have a fake body and everything. "Understand? You're one of the only person I trust getting this done," I say.  "Are you sure this is ethical? Is she on board with this?" he sounded hesitant. "She said she never wanted to go back anyway! It means they would stop looking for her which puts her and us in less danger."

"Fine. I'll do it. I'll be back soon I guess," Mikey said and patted me on the back.

Victoria's POV:

It was late and I couldn't sleep once again. I feel like I'm turning into a vampire which how much I've been staying up. I sighed and got out of bed, my toe is quite sore but I hobble my way to the Library to enjoy a good book and maybe even some tea.

I looked up at the moon through the glass dome, the fire crackled in the fireplace really setting the mood. I spot an old school record player near the fireplace. I walked over to it quickly looking through my options, I put on A Vampires Heart by Peter Gundy.

I stood in the middle of the marble circle that shimmered in the moonlight. I held out my arms and hands and closed my eyes as if I was dancing with someone. My toe did make it difficult to move but once I got the hang of it I felt like I was floating.

Something felt different though, the air around me was cold. A Vampires Masquerade by Peter Grundy plays. I open my eyes to meet them with Gerard's hauntingly enchanting hazel eyes. I gasped wanting to pull away from his grasp but something inside stopped me. My nightgown flowed in the air as Gerard spins me around in his arms pushing my hair out of my face.

His cape swung around perfectly as if it could work as a magic carpet. I couldn't look away from his pale sharp face, his lips seeming soft and delicate. We slowed down and he stopped to speak, "Oh Victoria darling, you're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. You remind me of the stars, the way you shine ever so effortlessly."

"Gerard.." I whispered, it's all I could say before our lips collided. We kissed for what felt like minutes but it was definitely only a couple of seconds. The inside of my stomach felt like the butterfly exhibit at the zoo.

"Will you please stay with me? With us? I promise to protect you and keep you safe," he offers holding my face with his cold hands. "Please Victoria."

"Yes Gerard, I will," sharing a kiss once again.
