After a week...
"Are you looking for someone in particular?" Jenice is asked by a co-worker. The brunette frightens, coming back to reality.
Sandra is a brunette with bright blue eyes. The only dancer with whom Jenice gets along here. The others are full of them and behave repulsively with her since Nikki keeps coming and visiting her. Sandra is not like them. She is really a good friend, Jenice not having a good friend before her relationship with Paul, as he did ban her to have friends.
"I don't know what are you talking about," Jenice shakes her head and puts on a robe, and goes to the mirror to check her makeup.
Sandra observes her, with a sly look.
"You know who I'm talking about. You look for him like crazy. You can't wait to see Nikki."
"It's not true," scoffs Jenice, applying mascara.
"If you say so," Sandra checks her red nails. "Anyway... How's Sarah doing?"
"She is fine. Although lately, Lily tells me that Sarah misses me a lot.
"Aw. It is regular for children to want to spend time with their mother. She's just four years old."
"Almost five," Jenice corrects her.
"It doesn't matter," Sandra clicks her tongue.
"I feel guilty sometimes," the brunette's eyes grow big, looking into the mirror. "I would like to spend more time with her. But I can't. I am so thankful that Lily is helping me. But I would like to be the one who takes care of Sarah. I feel so awful."
"Believe me you are a good mother," Sandra pats her back. "You are doing all this for your daughter. It will all be worth it in the end. You will finish your studies and leave here."
"How about you?"
"Oh, me? I'll be fine, girl," giggles the optimistic Sandra. "I won't be here long. You just know about my accounting courses."
"I really wish you success," Jenice smiles at her.
"Oh, I didn't know that auditions for a cheap soap opera are held here," a voice is heard.
Lisa is standing in the door frame, with her hands folded, looking superiorly at them.
"What do you want?" Sandra rolls her eyes.
"Nobody has time for gossip," Lisa says sharply. "We have to get our asses to work."
"I didn't know you were our boss," says Jenice, unable to hold back.
"Correct!" Adds her friend. "You're not even an assistant or anything. You would do well to stop giving us orders."
"You will regret these words!" Lisa spats furiously.
"What are you going to do about this?" Jenice says with an arched eyebrow.
"She's going to go and talk to the boss! That she will do! Pathetic!"
"You! Both of you stupid bitches! Shut up!"
"Aw. The big baby is crying," Sandra purses her lips and laughs together with Jenice and both pass by Lisa. "Admit that you are jealous," Sandra addresses the redhead. "Nikki Sixx comes and pays attention to Jenice. He doesn't even look at you. And you can't do anything about it. Because you are not as beautiful as you think you are."
At this moment, Lisa fumes, with a swollen vein in her forehead, swearing to herself that she will get revenge soon.
As Jenice does her number on the stage, hanging out at the pool, she sees Nikki who is attending the nightclub.
