A/N
I made a small mistake with the dates in the story. The action in this chapter was supposed to take place in April 2000. I did a better calculation and it turns out that Nikki and Jenice got married in March 1990. So Jenice is two months pregnant in this chapter, not three. Sorry for that. And OMG! This story gained 5 k views! I can't express how happy I am! Thanks to everyone who supports this story. A few more chapters and it will be finished! And listen to the song when I will point!
After two months... March 2000...
"Mommy! Sissy! Look! I am a princess!" Little Luna does a pirouette, the white tulle dress flutters as the little girl raises her hands in the air.
Jenice and Sarah can't help but giggle. They wear white dresses too.
Jenice chose to wear her wedding dress from 10 years ago, which she kept with great care for this special day. She wasn't that skinny 10 years ago though. Her waist has undergone small changes after a few more pregnancies and especially now that her belly is starting to grow. She is 2 months pregnant now and it is already starting to show a little. Fortunately, the dress helps, hide that.
Jenice and Nikki still haven't told everyone about the pregnancy. More from Jenice's fear that something bad would happen to the baby. But so far everything is ok, the baby is growing healthily.
Sarah looks at her mother, a little worry on her face.
"Mom? Are you ok? You look pale."
"I'm fine, honey," Jenice smiles. "It's just the foundation, probably. I didn't choose the right shade."
Sarah glares at her younger sister who is wandering further into the room.
"I'm worried, mom," Sarah approaches, whispering. "You know... The baby."
"We are both fine. You don't have to worry, honey. I've done this so many times before. Do you forget that I already have four children?" Her mother giggles.
"Of course not," Sarah frowns and smiles with a rolling of her eyes.
The sound of the opening door infiltrates inside. Jenice and Sarah see Sandra, very heaving pregnant, roaming towards them with a hand under her belly.
"How is the bride? Are you ready so you renew your vows?" Sandra asks.
"A little nervous," Jenice sighs out. "But tell about you. How are you?"
"Besides the fact that I feel ready to pop, I'm fine," Sandra pulls a tired smile. "Two more weeks and everything will be over. I swear this baby will be the last! I don't know how you can do it the fifth time."
"I didn't think I would have so many children either," a calm and serene smile spread over Jenice's face as she places a hand on her bump.
"Mommy!" A hoarse voice abounds and the sound of two small stubby feet on the polished floor.
Jenice's niece, Jessica barges in, running as fast as her legs can to Sandra.
"Jess?" Her mother seems surprised. "I told you to stay with your father!"
"I wanted to come to you, mommy!" Jessica shows off her brown puppy eyes that she inherited from her father. "And I wanted to come and play with Luna!" The girl points out to Luna who steps towards her cousin, delighted to have a playmate.
"Kids," Sandra lets out a sigh and a small tired smile.
"Aunt Jenny! You're beautiful!" Jessica shouts. "You look like a queen," the little girl grabs her white dress and swings without taking her eyes off her aunt.
