Nikki's blood is boiling at this moment.
Sandra looks at Amy in astonishment, mouth agape. Her gaze moves to the floor, blankly.
"That bitch..." She murmurs. "She's really nuts..."
Nikki says nothing for a few moments. Think about the information brought recently. It turns out that he was right that something seemed wrong with Jenice's accident. It was premeditated. Someone did this on purpose.
"Couldn't you have said this earlier?" Sandra raises her voice at Amy. "Jenice would not have been injured."
"I'm sorry," Amy rubs her elbow, completely embarrassed. "I didn't know exactly what she was doing. I thought she was checking something at the pool and that she was going to dance on stage there instead of Jenice. I am sorry."
"Don't scold her," Nikki addresses Sandra, with a calmer look. "It's not her fault. It's a good thing she told us. So we have a witness. Please stay here and take care of Jenice and Sarah. Tell her that... I don't know," he sigh uncertainly. "Tell her I went to get food... I'll be back soon. I will tell her everything afterwards."
"Ok," Sandra nods. "What are you up to?" The brunette throws puzzled looks at him and Amy.
"You'll see," Nikki glances back at Amy. "I would like you to come with me."
"Where?"
"At your workplace. Whoever did this to Jenice will pay."
Sandra follows them with her eyes as they both disappear from the hallway.
She sighs, not believing that the situation would be so complicated and enters Jenice's room, but not before thinking of an excuse for Nikki's departure.
In front of the nightclub, now, Nikki walks in. He has a defiant, mad look, his eyes are glassy in his head. Amy follows him less confidently, with an uneasy look that searches around.
They meet with the boss of this place. That mature woman. It seems that she is talking to some employees.
Nikki stops in front of her, the woman looks confused, glancing at him and Amy and then back at her employees. Nikki's sharp gaze moves in the back. Near the scene where Jennice fell. God... There's still blood on the floor with the shards. The chairs and the table have been removed. As well as the pool that came off.
"What happens?" The boss of the place is still confused. "Did something happen? Is Jenice okay? I got information that her condition is stable."
"Someone put Jenice's life in danger!" Spats Nikki unable to calm his anger. "And if you don't do something, I will somehow manage to shut this place! You have my word!" He points out his finger in the air.
"Ok..." The mature woman appears tense. "Calm down for a moment and explain what happened?"
"What happened?!" Nikki grits his teeth, but his eyes move further back to see Lisa who has a nervous look.
The redhead seems to have entered the room without knowing that Nikki pays a visit to this place. It looks like she's backing away, trying to leave.
"Stop!" Nikki shouts at her and runs after her. "You! Damn witch!"
Lisa has no chance, Nikki is faster than her and ends up getting caught by the wrist.
She grunts, looking at him with a pleading look.
"Let me go... I didn't do anything."
"That's what you'll tell the Police! Are you aware that Jenice could have died?"
"But she's fine!" Lisa defends herself, shaking, trying to free herself from his grip.
"That's because she was lucky!" Nikki stirs with wrath. "Otherwise, you would have been charged for murder!"
The boss of the nightclub looks stunned at the scene and together with her employees, they go to the two. Amy follows them too.
"What happens?" The boss demands clarification.
"Lisa can tell you what happened," Nikki lets the redhead go, she checks her wrists, although Nikki didn't grip her hard.
"What is going on here?!" The boss is progressively irritated.
"Tell them what you saw," Nikki eyes Amy. "Because it seems that Lisa has no intention of saying a word. In the meantime, someone call the police."
Everyone there stares inquisitively at Amy.
"So?" Her boss is waiting for a light on this mystery.
Amy takes a deep breath and reports the scene that she saw:
"Before Jenice fell off the stage... I saw Lisa walking to the pool from the stage where Jenice danced. I didn't understand exactly what she was doing there. I thought she did check it or something. That she will dance on stage instead of Jenice. That they will swap scenes. Lisa noticed me and made a surprised face and left immediately. We all know that Lisa and Janice had an argument some time ago. They had a grudge against each other."
Her colleagues gape in shock, with their hands over their mouths and terrified looks.
"What the?!" Her boss shouts in astonishment and looks with sharp eyes at Lisa who gulps and wishes to disappear from that room at any cost. "Lisa!? What do you have to say about this?"
"I..." Lisa is intimidated, her voice drops, no longer as vocal as it was a few moments ago.
"No need for your meaningless words," Nikki scoffs in disdain. "The police will take evidence from the scene of the incident. Amy is a witness. You will spend a long time in prison! You will pay for what you did to Jenice! But tell me too, was it all worth it? Did you think that after you will, you would complete your diabolical plan, I would come to you right away? I regret that night when I left with you! You are a psycho! You could have killed Jenice! You should have seen the look on her daughter's face when she found out that her mother was injured and in the hospital! Maybe something would have arisen in you. A trace of consciousness. But I doubt!"
Lisa bursts into tears, hands over her eyes and lays down on the floor, continuing to shed tears.
Nikki wonders if she's crying because of what he told her or because she's going to prison. Probably because of both.
Nikki returns to the hospital more peacefully. Justice will be served for the one who caused such misery to his lover. He must share this news with Jenice.
Sandra is still with her and Sarah in the room. Nikki asks her to take Sarah outside to his car where he has in some gifts for the little girl to get her attention and spend some time alone with Jenice. When the little girl hears about such an offer, Sandra barely catches her footsteps as Sarah walks out the door like a whirlwind.
"What it's about?" Jenice asks Nikki, he stays in front of her, a hand on her cheek.
"I have to tell you something, babe," he has a calm look. "You must know that what happened to you was not an accident. Someone wanted to hurt you deliberate."
"What?!"
And Nikki tells her the whole story. How Lisa plotted against her. She made changes to the pool, causing it to become unbalanced. And this caused her fall and hospitalization. Lisa could have settled her accounts with her life.
Jenice is speechless. She cannot digest this new information that she is being told. She knows that Lisa hates her, but this is already too much. This was an attempt to get rid of her for good.
"So she was... Although I know she hated me... I find it hard to believe that her mind thought of such a thing."
"Don't worry. She will pay for everything. No one gets away unpunished when they hurt my Jenny," Nikki takes her hand in his.
"I love you," she smiles at him fondly. "I love you for everything you do for me."
"I love you too, honey," he rises up and kisses her on the top of her head. I will always do anything for you and Sarah.
