"Lily!" Sarah runs to the old lady and hugs her tightly. "I'm so happy to see you."

"I'm happy to see you too, honey," Lily can barely control her tears.

Nikki watches the moving scene. What a good idea he had to bring Lily and be Sarah's nanny. As it was before. They have a beautiful connection.

All eyes are on Jenice, who enters the foyer, holding a red satin purse. The most attracted by her appearance is Nikki who stares non-stop at her.

The brunette wears red trousers with wide legs, and a red lace top with long and wide sleeves. Her hair is tied in a ponytail, a few strands of hair cover her forehead.

"Wow! Mommy! You're beautiful!" Sarah shouts.

Jenice smiles at her and passes by Nikki, who continues looking at her, his eyes slide towards her thighs and buttocks.

Jenice hugs Lily tightly, expressing how much she missed her.

"I'm glad that you are all well," admits the elderly woman. "When I heard all that had happened, I was in total shock. I was just praying that both of you would be unharmed."

"We are fine now," Jenice smiles, glancing at her daughter and finally at Nikki, her smile still lingering.

Nikki winces in amazement, because after all this time Jenice smiles at him. A good sign perhaps? He really puts all his hope in this evening that everything will turn out well.

Sarah jumps into the arms of Jenice and Nikki, saying goodbye.

In the car, both Nikki and Jenice are silent, hardly speaking at all and the only topic is about the restaurant and the reserved table.

Inside, the two wonder if they are the first to arrive, but they are surprised to see Tommy and Heather seated already at the table, waiting for them.

The two receive them smiling, Nikki and Jenice sit down at the table.

"Jenice," Heather smiles earnestly, "you look wonderful tonight. Red is your color."

"Thank you. So do you," the brunette smiles at her, Heather is wearing a blue jumpsuit, just like the shade of her eyes color.

After ordering the course, the two couples have all kinds of discussions and even share memories.

It is not difficult for Tommy and Heather to notice that there is tension between Nikki and Jenice. A tension and coldness. When they arrived, they were not holding hands. They show no affection for each other. They just smile and say a few words. The two behave more like two acquaintances. The sad scene to see.

After the courses, Jenice is increasingly restless. She is aware that she agreed to this double date, but she feels uncomfortable. It's like there's no air left. Especially when she sees Tommy and Heather how affectionate they are with each other. Just like she and Nikki used to be some time ago.

"Excuse me," Jenice gets up from the table, the whole discussion until now ends. "I'm going to the restroom."

"Are you ok?" Nikki looks worried.

"I'm fine," she nods, smiling vaguely. "Do not worry."

The brunette smiles slightly at the couple and makes her way out of there.

"You really fucked up the things," Tommy addresses Nikki. "You shouldn't have told her."

There is a flash of surprise blended with unhappiness in Heather's eyes. Anyway, she has also a few words to say:

"You just need time," says Heather her point of view. "Everything will pass."

"I don't know how time we'll have together to be honest," sighs Nikki, dejected.
