Kelly sat in the interview chair as cameras were on her and the camera crew set everything up for her. They gave her a chair to prop up her leg and she looked over at the couch that was in the room rolling her eyes at Ocean and Li'Angelo.
"This isn't my first interview you realize that right?" she asked them, and Ocean shrugged sipping her coffee.
"Mom told me to keep an eye on you so that's what I'm doing" she said and Kelly shook her head laughing.
Kelly reached out and Ocean gave her the coffee, letting her take a sip before the interview began.
"What did you think about Gelo?" the lady, Courtney, asked Kelly.
"Li'Angelo was nice. He pulled my chair out for me since I'm hurt. My own sister didn't do it for me" she said, side-eyeing Ocean who rolled her eyes. "Doesn't hurt that he is cute. Too bad he's too old for me" she sighed sadly and Gelo couldn't help but laugh.
They asked a few more questions about the dinner before the questions about the arcade came.
"What was the conversation about between you, Gelo and zo?" Kelly chuckled at the thought.
"I was threating him that if he hurt my sister, I was going to make his life hell. I may be the youngest but I don't play when it comes to my family at all. I have friends all over that I can call. Plus I work out with my dad when I can. I have a strong punch. Ask dad and Axel" Gelo looked terrified and Ocean chuckled knowing her sister was completely serious.
"She's joking" she whispered to him. "Sort of" she then added.
"What were you thinking when Melo won that bear for you?" Courtney then asked.
She smiled a bit at the thought and gave an honest answer.
"Really happy. I love stuffed animals and it was really sweet that he stayed at the game until he won the bear for me" She smiled and could hear the smirks on Ocean's face.
After a few more questions, she was finished with the interview and Ocean grabbed the crutches for her while Gelo helped Kelly stand up. Taking her crutches, she left the room not wanting to watch Gelo and Ocean do their interview.
"Hey! Kelly right?" she heard as she got to the main area.
Looking up, she saw Lavar walking in from the back. She nodded and gave him a side hug before following him to the kitchen to get a drink.
"Can I have some water?" she asked and Lavar got her some.
"How's your knee?" he asked as Kelly sat down to rest for a second.
"It's as good as my injury can be. Hurts when I move it, but my surgery is coming up so that's good, I guess. Trying to get all the sun I can get before I really can't move for a while" she chuckled and handed him the glass once she finished her water before going out back where she found Melo practicing.
"You think I can try?" she asked and he looked over at her.
"Huh?" he said and she rolled her eyes playfully.
"Can I try and shoot?" she repeated and he nodded helping her to the court.
"I have good balance. I can stand on one leg for a while" she reassured him. "Go catch my rebound because I might miss this." she laughed and shot the ball.
The ball went into the net and she cheered, fist pumping. Melo gave her the ball back and she shot it again, smiling as it went in again.
"Maybe I should be a basketball player" she joked and laughed before her phone went off.
