Kelly sat in the kitchen of the Vertes home as Jill made her some tea. She thanked her once she received it and Jill looked at her.
"You know I'm going to have to call your mom" Jill said and Kelly nodded.
"Yes ma'am" she responded quietly.
Jill grabbed her phone and called Jasmine once Kelly gave her the number.
"Hello?" Jasmine asked, sounding like she's been crying.
"Hey. Jasmine this is Jill" Jill said and Jasmine grew annoyed and angry.
"How did you get my number?" She asked.
"Kelly gave it to me. She came here last night. She was drunk and upset and I let her stay the night"
Kelly closed her eyes as she thought about the party and shook her head. She knew she was in some trouble now.
"I'm on my way" Jasmine said and hung up.
Kelly finished her tea and picked at her jeans as she waited for her mom to arrive and give her the punishment she knew was coming. Jasmine arrived and Jill let her in.
"She's in the kitchen" Jill said and Jasmine rush in, hugging Kelly.
"Don't ever do that again" Jasmine cried as she held Kelly close.
"I'm sorry, mom. Please don't be mad at me"
Kelly cried back, holding her close. "I just wanted to have fun but it just made things worse"Jasmine just held her baby close, not letting her go. "It's okay baby. It's okay. Just breathe for me"
Kelly took deep breaths as she held her mom. That's all she needed at the moment. No electric or freedom could compare to the love she wanted from her mom in that moment.
"Is London okay?" Kelly then asked. "It's not her fault mom. I left without telling her. Don't punish her please" she wiped her tears as she tried to calm down.
"She's fine. She's worried and she feels bad that you didn't come home" Jasmine kissed Kelly's head before looking at Jill. "Thank you for looking after her"
"I know you'd do the same if it was Kendall" Jill said back and Kelly waved bye to Jill before leaving with her mom.
Kelly didn't talk on the way home. She didn't know what to say. Jasmine parked when they got home but neither of them got out the car. They just sat in silence.
"Do you want to talk it out more? I don't want us to get to this point again Kelly. I want to be how we used to. Always able to talk to each other about anything." Jasmine spoke up, looking at her daughter.
"The nightmares are back" she admitted. "I still see that man on top of me every night and I can still feel it all. The pain. The fear. All of it. Before, I didn't do anything wrong but he took that from me mom. He took it all from me. My happiness, my innocence and the only person who helped me through that was melo and you made me stop talking to him." She wiped her tears away. "He made me happy mom. Now that he's gone, im having nightmare again and everything is going downhill for me. People hate me, Maddie won't talk to me again and I'm fighting with you most of time. I need help mom. Real help. Not talk to someone every week about it"
"So you're suggesting rehab or something?" Jasmine looked at her child as tears fell down her own face as her daughter spoke to her.
"I just want to be normal again mom. Going to rehab would be the best for me. I want to make you and dad proud of me" Kelly moved hair from her mom's face.
"We already are proud of you baby" Jasmine held her hand and Kelly nodded her head. "We are so proud of you. You have no idea how lucky we are to be your parents"
