"Take me for a ride boy. Show me your wild side boy. Know it's been a while boy. I wanna get wild" Normani's voice sang as Kelly sat on the floor of her dance studio.
"You still go it" Kelly laughed as Sean leaned on her from behind.
"I would hope so. I still train as if I was a dancer. I just don't dance with a team" Kelly looked at him.
"Well let's continue so it can be done" he pulled her up.
Kelly restarted the song and they started the dance. Old heads would say it is a little mature and sensual for kids their age but they were both adults so it shouldn't matter. It fit the song.
"Don't drop me" she squealed as he lifted her up.
He laughed and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Resting her cheek on his head, Sean turned as the door opened and Jasmine walked in with drinks for them.
"Look how cute you guys are" she smiled handing them the drinks.
"Mom" Kelly whined blushing embarrassed.
She got out of Sean's arms but he didn't let her go. Kelly let Sean sip the water before she drank some as well. Jasmine smiled at her child and walked back towards the door whistling for Honey who didn't listen, staying by Kelly.
"She's okay momma" Kelly chuckled as Sean knelt down petting the dog.
"Let me know if you guys need anything and don't forget you have your appointment with the knee doctor soon"
"Oh shoot" Kelly groaned. "I forgot about that"
"What about your knee?" Sean asked confused.
"They think I might need another surgery for my knee. Because I was still dancing on it when I wasn't supposed to, they think it didn't heal fully heal correctly which is why I still have pain"
"So what are they doing to do if you need surgery again?" They sat on the floor.
"No clue. Probably reinjure it so it can heal properly I guess" she shrugged. "But again, my knee has been injured many times. Fractured kneecap, torn acl, torn meniscus. My poor knee"
"Surprised you're walking on your own" Sean said massaging her knee as Kelly leaned back onto the floor.
"I'm barely doing that" Kelly stretched. "I walk around with my crutches in the house"
Sean put Kelly's brace back on for her and watched as she rolled backwards until she was on her knees.
"Think I can still do a lyrical routine?" She asked him, standing up.
