"Okay it's on" Kelly mumbled as she turned on her camera to record. "It's been a while" setting it on the kitchen counter, she showed off her bump that's grown a lot more since the gender reveal.
"So, I'm officially 30 weeks today" she told the camera, rubbing her belly. "I know it doesn't look like it at all but I'm excited that I'm getting closer to actually having my son" she smiled. "He's been moving around lately. Like if I press on a spot, he'll kick it" she raised her shirt up, pressing on her belly. A few seconds later, you can see the baby kick. "See. He's been active lately. More so with his dad than me but I don't mind it" she shrugged. "I've been getting slower and more tired as the days go by."
"And angrier" Melo said from the other side of the camera where he was peeling the skin off an apple for her.
"He's lying. He just likes to tick me off" Kelly rolled her eyes. "Okay so I've been meaner lately. Everything's been pissing me off. By everything, I mean him"
"I just breathe wrong and she's annoyed" LaMelo handed her the apple and she took a bite of it.
Nodding at the taste of the apple, she ate the rest of it while talking to the camera about the pregnancy.
"I've been getting more and more tired as the days go on" she chuckled. "Just ready for my child to come so my stomach can go back to how it was before" she pouted. "I'm not used to weighing this much. The doctor said I didn't gain a lot, but I feel like I did" she took another bite of the apple. "Oh, and check this out, my due date...Christmas Eve " she laughed. "December 24th. Isn't that crazy? Just like his dad wanting to show out"
LaMelo laughed and Kelly showed off her belly again, poking her belly which made the baby kick again.
"My little E bug" she giggled.
"I still came believe you won't name him Lamelo" Kelly just rolled her eyes.
"I told you, go find someone else to give you a jr because I won't be me" Kelly leaned against the counter. "You said you liked Eryx"
"It's a fire name but Lamelo...come on" the basketball player begged.
"No" Kelly shook her head. "Eryx Reeves is what we're going with"
"Again, why not Ball?" Lamelo then asked, eating his own apple.
"Because we're not married" Kelly shrugged, turning off then camera. "If we were married, it would be a different story so once we get married, if we ever get to that point, then he can have your last name"
LaMelo just kept eating his apple. Whatever she said, goes. Kelly got ready to go out with her dad and waited for him arrive. Once he did, they went out to a few stores to find things for the nursery and home before going get some food.
"Wings have been my craving this entire time," Kelly said as she and her dad sat at a cozy little restaurant, enjoying a father and daughter day.
Chris chuckled, shaking his head with amusement. "I know. Every time I see you, you were eating wings," he said, laughter in his voice. Kelly just smiled, her eyes lighting up as she dug into the plate of wings she had ordered, savoring each bite.
"So, how has it been? You have how long left?" Chris asked, his tone turning more serious as he looked at his daughter with concern and curiosity.
"I have a little over two months left," Kelly replied, taking a sip of her drink. "It's been good now. The beginning was the worst for me. I could barely move, but now I haven't been sick or anything."
Chris nodded, relieved to hear that thing had improved. "That's good to hear. I remember how worried you were at the start."
Kelly smiled softly, happy to always have her father's support. "Yeah, it was tough. But now, it's like I'm finally getting to enjoy this time. I'm excited and a little nervous, but mostly just happy."
