Monday morning....

Sammie arrive at school early and get a good parking spot. As soon as she step out of her car, Luis runs up to Sammie.

Luis: Sammie! Come quick! There's, um, been a huge incident in the gym!

Sammie: Oh really? What kind of incident?

Luis: A....huge one!

Sammie: Good or bad?

Luis: It's a, uh....You really need to see it, okay?

Sammie: Luis, lead the way!

Luis: This way!

Everything seems normal as Sammie walk through the hallways toward the gym. Then she open the door and suddenly see her....

Sammie: Huh? That was weird. Luis, how come you didn't tell me anyone is at the gym?

Luis: Just you wait, Sammie.

Emma: Samantha "Sammie" Clifford!

Emma does a handspring forward, followed by two round offs. Sydney tosses her a bouquet of flowers and she presents them to Sammie.

Sammie: Oh wow, you've become quite the gymnast.

Emma: Thanks! The handspring wasn't easy. I had to practice for weeks, but....you're worth it. So, Sammie, will you go to prom with me?

Sammie look at the flowers, then around the room of the faces of her friends standing nearby, then finally into Emma's eyes. A broad grin spreads across Sammie's face. She knows her answer.

Sammie: Emma, Yes! Yes! Ohmygosh, YES!

Sammie throw her arms around Emma and embrace her tightly. She squealed.

Emma: You don't know how excited I've been for this moment!

Sammie: Every bit as excited as I am, I bet.

She squeezes Sammie even tighter.

Michael: I think she liked the promposal. Kind of.

Maria: Shush, you. Let them have their moment.

Sammie's lips find hers and she start to kiss her deeply, urgently, unable to stop herself. She returns her kisses, every bit as eager. Neither of her so much as stop for air until she feel a tap on her shoulder.

Sydney: Girls? It's time to get to class.

Sammie: It is?

Sydney: You didn't hear the warning bell?

Emma giggles.

Emma: Guess we got a bit carried away there.

Sammie: I don't mind at all. In fact, I wish we could continue this....

Emma: Then let's do it!

Sammie: You're not suggesting we skip class, are you?

Emma: What? No way! But people have been telling me there's a cliff outside of town that's perfect for romance. Maybe we could have a picnic this evening?

Sammie: Ms. Hawkins, I'll be ready at 8:00 PM. But before this, kiss me one more time before homeroom?

Emma: You bet!

She pecks Sammie quickly on the lips, then takes her hand and she walk together toward the classroom.

That evening....

As Sammie and Emma step out of her car, she go breathless at the stunning view of the forest under a blanket of stars.

Emma: So, what do you think Sammie?
