It's springtime at Cedar Cove. However, with Hearst High temporary closed, most of the friends are forced to transfer to Berry. Old enemies and new friends arrive at Berry High, leading to all sorts of drama and with Prom only a few months away.

Sammie arrive at the restaurant and the waitress leads her to the back room, where most of her friends are already hanging out.
Sammie: Hello?
Caleb: Sammie! You finally made it!
Sammie's friends run over excitedly to greet her.
Cameron: Hey, Sammie!
Myra: Your suit looks amazing!
Jade: You'll win prom queen for sure.
Sammie: Dawwwwwwww! Thanks, but where's my sugar plum Emma?
Emma: Right behind you!
Sammie turn around to see Emma standing by the doorway.

Emma throws her arms around Sammie and the two ladies share a deep kiss.
Emma: Happy Prom, Sammie.
Sammie: Happy Prom to you too, Emma. So, what do you think of the suit?
Emma: Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. And I never thought someone as gorgeous as you on my arm.
Waitress: Attention everyone! Appetizers are ready.
Jade: Finally! I'm starving!
Everyone hurries over to the appetizer table.
Emma: As much as I hate to do this....I'm really hungry and--
Sammie: Don't even worry about it. Go grab something to eat. I'll mingle.
Emma: I'll make it up to you later. I promise!
Sammie: I'm going to hold you to that!
Sammie kiss Emma quickly before making her way to the buffet. Sammie join Aiden and Cameron at the appetizer table, where Aiden is persuading Cameron to eat escargot.
Aiden: Try it! It's a French delicacy!
Cameron: Ew! I am not eating snails!
Sammie: Is today Opposite Day? I would've pegged you as the adventurous one, Cameron.
Cameron: Not when it comes to food. I'm about as picky as they come. I haven't touched a single thing since I got here. And I'm not starting with snails.
Aiden: It's no different from consuming other mollusks like clams or oysters! Sammie, show her! There's nothing to be afraid of!
Sammie look down at the silver plate of buttered escargot....
Sammie: I'll eat one!
Sammie gingerly pluck the meat from a shell and pop it in her mouth.
Sammie: It's not bad. It doesn't really have a strong taste or anything.
