Hayaru returned back home, feeling tired after dealing with the bullshit that is the reunion with one of his most hated girl. He threw his bag to the couch and then slumped onto said couch, breathing a exasperated sigh as he's still mad about the earlier events.
He recalls on how he did on his first day, mostly threatening his classmates to not talk to him while he were busy with his work. Then encountering the very person who brought him to the accursed school, the reunion with his childhood friend, and the end with the damned reunion. Needless to say, he's not enjoying his first day at Vesta Academy.
"Fucking... I should've just quit school altogether..." He said to no one. "... no, I'm better than that. I'm better than that whore. I have to push it through for my own sake." He then remembered his past with his mother, one where she left him with a large sum of money before going to the casino from there on, saying that he's a "big man that can handle himself". It forever make him mad whenever he thinks of her and the past with her.
"... I should just make some food." He then said, going to do so to stop thinking of the past.

Pairu is now at a mansion, where she's being tended by Mahiru and one of her maid. The sports girl is bewildered of being brought to the luxurious mansion by the head of the Student Council, but Mahiru didn't mind about it, if it means to help her fellow student.
"M-Mahiru-san, how did you know about Hayaru-kun?" She said. "You said his name during the speech. I just don't get it..."
Mahiru then replace the cooling press with a new one, before applying it to Pairu's cheek.
"He's my hero." She then answered, making Pairu confused. "He saved me when I was robbed by some thugs. He may be rough and vulgar, but I know that he's kind." The sports girl is still not convinced of Mahiru's explanation, considering that Hayaru didn't get angry at her when she tries to move Pairu away.
"I just... don't understand..." Pairu said, before mumbling, "Why did he punched me? Is he still resenting me after all that?"
Mahiru then finished wrapping the press onto Pairu's cheek with the bandage.
"I don't know about your past with Hayaru-kun, but you should think this through. From what my mother told me, Hayaru-kun became hateful towards girls because of everything he went through back in the past. You're at the same middle school as him, right? Are you aware of his change during his time there?"
Mahiru's question sparked some memories to Pairu, particularly memories after the race. She remembered him avoiding her every time he sees her, and also acting more and more spiteful towards other girls during his third year. Even during the graduation ceremony, where he did not looked at the vice principal (who is a woman) directly while doing the opposite to the principal (who is a man).
"I... I remembered him becoming more hateful towards girls during our third year, and after we graduated, I never see him again until now..." Pairu admitted. "What should I do... I want to be friends with him again. I want to make up to him for the stupid mistake that I made." She said as tears forming because of her regrets. Mahiru then patted the sports girl's back in sympathy.
"All I can say is that you should be careful around Hayaru-kun. I'm not saying that you should get away from him, but it's for the best." She then advised as another maid enters while bringing some drinks, making Pairu more perplexed about her relationship with Hayaru.
"Then who are you to him?" She asked as she takes a glass of juice. Sure that Hayaru saved Mahiru, but she shouldn't risk of helping him because of his mysogyny. Mahiru then closed her eyes before giving her soft smile.
"I'm just an admirer, that's all." She said. Despite the straightforward answer, Pairu feel a sense of secrecy from her words. Despite this, she heed no mind about it. After the two finished drinking the juice, Mahiru then lead Pairu outside, escorting her to Mahiru family's limousine to take her home. Despite of still feeling overwhelmed by Mahiru's luxury, she accepts her offer and went home by the limousine. As for Mahiru, she smiled after feeling good of helping her fellow student, before returning home and heading straight to her bedroom.
Now at the bedroom, Mahiru quickly hugged her pillow, feeling embarrassed after admitting her relationship to Hayaru.
'I hope that we can be friends soon, Hayaru-kun...'

After having dinner and subsequently working on his first homework, Hayaru plays a mobile game to pass the time before bedtime. The game in question is an RPG featuring historical figures fighting to save the world... or something like that. While he's playing, he can't help but to think about tomorrow.
'Tomorrow's going to be another hellish day...' He thought. 'I fucking swear, if those two are also in that bitch den, I'm gonna lose it.' The two he mentioned are ones that he met in the past, who he ended up souring his relationship with them because of reasons.
After finishing his grind, he puts his phone away and stare at the ceiling, waiting for himself to get drowsy and to fall asleep.
'Seriously... why did this shit happened to me...'
He eventually falls asleep, with the last thing he think of is his possible lonely future...
(As always, I hope you guys enjoyed, and Peace Out!~)
