Hayaru's morning routine is as follows:
Wake up, set all of his laundry so he can do it later, take a shower, have a breakfast of toasted bread and eggs, prepare the bento, and head off to school.
It's a typical morning for high school students, but in Hayaru's case, he did everything alone, because his deadbeat mother is still away at the casino. Even so, he gotten used to it, because he keeps telling himself to prepare for his adult life alone, even if his deadbeat mother wouldn't help him.
"I'm off." He said to himself, before closing the door to his house and locks it. He then walks to the train station that is heading towards the street where Vesta Academy is, in which he enters the train. On his trip there, he played his mobile game to pass the time.
After the trip, he continued walking for a bit until he reached the gate leading to Vesta Academy. He stood there for a while, taking deep breath to calm himself down from raging towards the entire school.
'Let's get this fucking over with.' He thought, before stepping into the academy grounds. He keeps walking until he heard running footsteps that are getting close to him.
"Aru-kun!" He turned to see Momoi running towards him, before giving an elbow lock on the back of his neck. "Mornin'!"
"Mornin', Momotaro." Hayaru replied, and the two do the fist bump before continued walking.
"Got something interesting happened yesterday? Honestly I gotten none of that as usual." Momoi said, which Hayaru simply shrugs.
"Eh, I raised my characters in HGO. Nothing too biggy." He replied. Hearing about the game that he played peaked Momoi's curiosity, making him interested in the game.
"HGO huh... I heard that it's a good game. I just never took a chance of trying it." He said.
"Then don't. It's both grindy and have horrible pull rate." Hayaru advised, making the pinkette chuckle awkwardly.
"So who's your favorite character there?" Momoi then asked. Hayaru closed his eyes before looking at Momoi with a shy look.
"Well... I guess Musashi. I don't know why, but I just like her." He admits. While it's true that he hates girls in real life, that mostly doesn't apply to things that are fiction, and characters from HGO are one of these exception.
"Can I see it?" Momoi said. Being a childhood friend, Hayaru then pulls out his phone and quickly boots up the game, which then shows the menu along with the Musashi character. Momoi then went surprised upon looking at the character.
'She... looks like me?' He thought. Before he can look more of the character, Hayaru pulls back his phone before pocketing it.
"Yeah, you better not play it anyway. Too many things to grind." Hayaru said, before continue walking into the building. As for Momoi, he pouts at Hayaru for being a bit of a jerk, even though he didn't realize it.
'Aru-kun, you idiot.' He thought before catching up to him.
Now inside the building, the two continue chatting about their past. But when they went to the stairway, Hayaru stopped as he sees something disturbing. Momoi then wonders why it happened, until he sees the person he's looking at.
It's a girl standing at the higher level, with long white hair with green accent, along with green eyes. Her height is below Hayaru's, thus having a petite look on her.
The girl on the other hand looks at Hayaru in shock, as if she recognize him immediately.
"H-hayaru-kun..." She said with a soft tone of voice. Momoi then looked at Hayaru, who is tensing up while balling his fist, seemingly ready to punch her. Realizing how he feels right now, Momoi holds his balled hand and pulls him downstairs.
"Let's just go another way. We'll go to your homeroom first." Momoi said, trying to avert his childhood friend's attention of the girl. Of course, Hayaru is surprised by this, but he didn't complained. The girl however tries to reach Hayaru in panic.
"W-wait!" She tries to catch up to them, but when she turned around the intersection, they're already gone. The girl closed her eyes before looking away sadly.
"Hayaru-kun... Please..."
Now at another stairway, the two boys are walking up, with Momoi checking Hayaru's feelings while walking together.
"I was gonna punch that bitch..." He heard Hayaru mumbling, before sighing.
"Look, Aru-kun. I don't know about your beef with that girl, but you best off ignoring her." Momoi said while giving a pat on his back. Hayaru sighs heavily, knowing that it's true.
"Thanks for the save though. I ain't gonna ruin my morning because of that bitch." He said, feeling relieved. Momoi smiled at him for heeding his advise, but he couldn't help but to wonder,
'Maybe that girl's the one who changed Aru-kun... I better get to the bottom of this.' He thought. The two then reached the first year floor, and they then parted ways as they enter their respective class.

Meanwhile, at class 2-C, the white haired girl stared at her notebook, feeling down after her encounter with Hayaru. This caused a bit of gossiping around her, because from her classmates, she's known as the Snow White Princess, who looks cold from the outside, but many rumored that she's secretly warm inside, and this is the first time that they see her in a dispirited mood.
'Hayaru...' She thought, looking at her notebook. The notebook itself displays an excerpt of a diary, one that she remembers well. 'If only... If only I wasn't that spoiled back then, we could've kept our friendship.'
The bell then rang, signaling the beginning of morning classes. The girl puts away her notebook to prepare for the class. As she's now ready to follow the lesson, deep down she hoped that she will see Hayaru again, with the intention of repaying him for something back in the past...
This is the lament of the Snow White Princess, Shiroyuki Yuniko.
(As always, I hope you guys enjoyed, and Peace Out!~)
