"We need to move this car."
"You have the right idea, Rick. However, we also should burn the undead's corpses. We can't have them decaying here, or else it would suffocate us with the nasty odor." (Y/n) and Rick were discussing what to do next. Lots of ideas were passed around, but those two were picked out of them all.
"I do agree, we need to ask the others though." Rick beamed at (Y/n), exhibiting his loving side. It was more frequent now, especially since there aren't any threats to them. Walkers or humans.
"I love the democracy, Sheriff." (Y/n) knocked him with her hips gently, and he returned the exact motion but harsher, crashing her on the floor. The two were dumbfounded, gaping at each other in silence.
A smile cracked on her lips while Rick started laughing at himself. How couldn't he restrain his force? The two erupted in a fit of laughter, incapable of shutting their mouths.
From far away, Daryl stared at them. The man's lips raised upwards, witnessing someone he cared about relishing her time made him pleased. At this moment, he acknowledged that this is how those two were before the apocalypse. They seemed so close, inseparable. He knew Rick has a wife, but a part of him told him (Y/n) would pick Rick over him always.
The pure euphoria on her face was worthwhile, Daryl crossed his arms, getting ready to turn around and take off. That was until he saw T-Dog scowling in a certain direction.
"What's up?" Daryl whispered, getting closer to T-Dog gradually. T-Dog never took his eyes away, but whispered calmly, "Look."
Daryl's eyes hovered towards the path, dropping onto T-Dog's concerns. There they were, Axel and Oscar. A frown instantly fell upon his complexion, how dare they break the only rules they were given?
"Rick, you might need to come." T-Dog called, gaining Rick's engagement. (Y/n) dusted her pants off after earning a hand from her friend. When she wrapped up tidying herself up, she noticed Rick's furrowed eyebrows.
"Not again..." (Y/n) whispered to herself, yearning for at least a full day of happiness, not only a few hours. Eventually glancing at where the others were focused on, she saw the two. Why were they here? She did stop by them earlier, they happily chatted and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
Hurrying towards Daryl and T-Dog, the two approached the other men. Axel and Oscar can't do anything, even if they wanted to. Rick and his people outnumbered them.
"Are you two okay?" (Y/n) had the closest connection to them, knowing them most than all, so she did the talking. While she was in front of everyone, the other three had hands on their gun handles just in case.
Maggie and Glenn came up behind the two men, circling them in case they decided to do anything stupid.
"Yeah, we are. It's just we couldn't stay in that prison any longer. It was too suffocating for us to stay there." Axel was the one to speak, he had a sweet way of communicating. Sure, Oscar was kind as well, but he's too straightforward.
"Didn't I say to not get around my people?" Rick asked, but (Y/n) gently pushed him back, wanting to be the one to bargain with them. Rick is short-tempered, and any single scene that he doesn't like will turn into a disaster.
"You did, but I promise we couldn't remain in a cell block packed with our lifeless friends." Axel was ready to beg, being in this fresh air outside made him loosen up, unlike how it was inside.
"Then burn them." Daryl clicked his tongue in irritation, how ridiculous can these two be?
"We tried, but whenever we got outdoors on our side, those creatures would compile. Please understand us, we got your point and I promise we're not like Tomas or Andrew, bro." Axel knew if it was in (Y/n)'s hands, she would let them act freely, but she wasn't particularly the leader. So now, he put all his attention on Rick.
