"You're not dying yet, not when I'm alive. Neither of you will leave this world!" Shane yelled, but he was mainly worried about the girl he's holding. She was slowly slipping away from him, but he won't let her die this easily.

"Sh-Shane! How's (Y/n)?!" This was the worst day Rick ever had. (Y/n) and Carl got shot, he was hoping and praying that those two would be able to hold on a little more. This man who shot them accidentally is now leading them to a farm that is supposed to have a doctor.

"She's unconscious, but her breathing is normal for now!" Shane ran faster, hoping that he would reach the doctor. Then something struck him. There are two injured people, who will Hershel treat first?

The man that shot them got tired as he slowed down, but Shane was going to stop yet, he wasn't going to waste his time since (Y/n)'s life depended on him now more than ever. "You're going to be alright (N/n), I promise you. I'm going to do anything to save your life, even if it meant me going through a herd of walkers to get a simple thing." Shane mumbled, kissing her forehead before reaching a house.

An old man came out of the building, staring at them. There were many other people as well, one of them was holding a bat to protect them if anything went wrong. Shane knew he was going to blurt everything out and nothing would be understandable, so he let Rick do the talking.

"Were they bit?" "No, your man shot my son and best friend, he told me to go find someone named Hershel," Rick explained, as Hershel immediately motioned for them to follow him, as he ordered every person to go get him something.

"The lady's wound doesn't seem to bad. The bullet cut clean through her body. She probably passed out from shock and pain, though she's not going to die. Just apply pressure to stop the bleeding, for now, I'll take care of her after the boy." The old man, Hershel, explained as that relieved both men. Rick was still so worried about his son though.

"I-Is my son going to be a-alive..?" Rick asked, his eyes tearing up from how worried he was. The emotions started to take over him, but he had to stay strong for both of his loved ones. The old man didn't answer Rick's question as he gave him a pillowcase.

"Apply pressure to his wound," Hershel demanded as Rick stayed silent, knowing that he shouldn't talk much if he wants his son to stay alive. Rick did whatever Hershel told him to do, feeling so broken.

A soft groan was heard from (Y/n) as Shane looked at her with hope in his eyes. "(N-N/n)... h-how are you feeling?" Shane asked, still having pressure on her wound as he looked into her eyes. Her (e/c) eyes were barely opened, she was trying to hold onto her consciousness.

"She's one strong lady." The old man said, not thinking that (Y/n) was going to wake up soon. Soon, her eyes held a frantic look as she looked at Rick, "C-Carl... wh-where is he..?" (Y/n)'s voice was so faint, which made Rick's heart clench. She was already in a bad condition, and he didn't want to make it worse.

(Y/n) tiredly looked to her side, as she felt tears prickle the corner of her eyes. Shane held her close, still being careful with her. "We need some blood for the boy. Do you know what's his blood type?" Hershel asked as (Y/n) immediately answered, wanting to help him.

"H-He's A negative... I'm O negative... I can give it to him." That shocked everyone as Hershel shook his head, "You think I'll take blood from you? You're barely conscious and already losing blood. If I took some, you'll be either in a coma or dead." The old man explained, before staring at Rick.

"I have the same blood type as him... just please do anything to get him well," Rick begged then looked at (Y/n)'s weak figure that was barely able to hold herself up. Shane had to assist her head a little.
