"(Y/n)! Share some of your fries!" Shane whined, trying to reach over for her. (Y/n) was ducking away into the corner, giggling as she playfully kicked his hand. Though, she made sure that she wouldn't hurt him.
Rick chuckled from how childish both of them were. He rolled his eyes as he looked at Shane, then softened when they were glued onto (Y/n), his beautiful best friend.
Recently, Lori and Rick have been having a lot of fights, and (Y/n) was always next to him. She was either trying to calm things down between them or took Carl so he doesn't see the war between his parents.
"On one condition. I want a free milkshake next time we go there." (Y/n) grinned, not noticing Shane whose face turned bright red. Rick looked at the two, his eyes soon held jealousy since he knew that Shane was also trying to win her heart.
"Okay, free milkshakes for all." Shane sighed in defeat as she almost immediately placed the fries in the middle, sharing them with the other two.
"Sharing is caring, you know that (n/n)." Rick smiled shyly, staring at the (h/c) haired girl. She nodded slowly, "But I was craving a milkshake, and I wanted Shane to buy me some since he forgot to get me a gift on my birthday." She acted as if she was mad at him for forgetting, though, she didn't really care.
"Hey, I'm sorry! I'll buy you anything you want next birthday, okay?" Shane looked at her, hoping that she'd forgive him. All of a sudden, (Y/n) broke into a fit of laughter in the back seat as both guys looked back at her, feeling a smile spread onto their lips.
"It's fine, I really don't want anything else other than you guys." (Y/n) gently pulled them both into a hug, closing her eyes from how relaxed she felt. Both men felt their hearts race for a second before relaxing.
(Y/n) soon broke the hug as she looked at Rick, smiling softly at him, "So how's my baby Carl?" (Y/n) and Carl are so close, which makes Carl consider (Y/n) as a mother more than he does to Lori, his mother who gave birth to him.
"He's not your baby (Y/n), you two never had sex." Shane jealously spoke, making the girl blush a little and look away.
"H-Hey... I never said that we had.. sex. I just said that I consider Carl as my son." She tried to not stutter as Rick smiled a little, thinking of Carl actually being their son.
"How's Lori?" (Y/n) tried to change the topic, as she saw his smile disappear, "She just hates me more and more than ever..." Rick started to rub his temples, getting stressed again.
(Y/n) noticed it and turned on the radio, "Oh come on! It's not time to get depressed." She placed her head on his shoulder and sang along with the song.
Rick felt happy at the feeling, but that didn't last too long. The radio was disturbed by another policeman telling them that it was something important. All of them looked at each other before they got serious and immediately went to the location.
A few minutes later, they arrived where they are supposed to be at, as (Y/n) was the first to be out of the car. She took the spikes with her, as Shane smirked at her, "Despite you being younger than us, you have the brains." He winked at her as she smiled at him in response.
They extended the spikes over the street, as Rick was standing next to the two other sheriffs, keeping his eyes on (Y/n) to make sure she's safe.
"Race ya to them!" Shane playfully ran to the others as (Y/n) pouted and ran quickly after him. Her agility was one of the things that everyone complimented. She was a pretty fast girl, as she quickly ran past Shane.
"(Y/n)! No fair!" Shane chuckled as he watched the air run through her hair. 'God damn... she's so fuckin pretty...' he thought, admiring her.
"I won!" She jumped around as Rick clapped for her, "Shane, what a shame. You let a girl beat you?" He wrapped his arm around (Y/n)'s shoulder,
