The delicate humming of an old lullaby echoed in the empty room. Gentle touches caressed the girl's hair, detangling each strand. Maggie promised to keep (Y/n) in her sight, no matter what was waiting for them.
(Y/n) laid her head down on Maggie's lap, feeling the love emitting from the lady. Meanwhile, Glenn kept pacing front and backward. He couldn't rest, what if that asshole comes back?
Stopping dead in his tracks, Glenn looked at (Y/n), needing an answer to the thought that bothered him most.
"(Y/n)..?" Glenn didn't know whether he should bring it up or not, but he got an explanation before even asking.
"Glenn... please sit, he barely touched me. We didn't..." (Y/n) couldn't continue, and above that, she lied about the little interaction they had. If she said that truth, Glenn might not even blink from overthinking.
"Glenn, I need to talk to you for a bit." Maggie gently lifted (Y/n) from her lap, planting a loving kiss on top of her head. "I'll be back, just give me a second."
Maggie and Glenn went to the corner of the room, a bit away so the other woman doesn't hear their discussion.
"What do you think happened? (Y/n) is a strong lady, but she's been so on edge. I don't know if I can believe her." Glenn crossed his arms, his eyes loaded with misery. His heart tightened at the thought of (Y/n) being mistreated.
"I don't know exactly, but I know for a fact she's lying. She's keeping some things to herself to not worry us. Never in a million years (Y/n) would give out our group's location, but whatever that asshole did must've been severe." Maggie rubbed her shoulder, staring at (Y/n) who was laying down with her back towards them.
"We've been surrounded by walkers for quite a while, I forgot how bad people can be." Glenn ran his hand through his hair, hoping that they get out of this place as soon as possible.
"I just... I hope she didn't get-" "Glenn, as much as I want to know too, we can't bring it up. What if it bothered her..? It must be rough on her right now." Maggie wiped away her tears. The thought of (Y/n) being alone and needing someone was too much for her.
Glenn couldn't stand here and do nothing, what if they came again and tried to take (Y/n) away?
The man strolled quickly towards the dead walker, lifting its hand. "This might be a bit disgusting... so turn around."
Clutching onto its arm, Glenn forcefully snapped it into two parts. The joint born was sharp enough to penetrate through a human's skin, they can use this as a weapon.
"Keep this with you, in case they tried to do anything to you or (Y/n), impale them." Glenn was getting overprotective, his blood was pumping from anger.
"What about you?" Maggie saw that he doesn't have anything to protect himself with.
"Walkers got two arms, but even if it didn't, I'll find any way to slaughter that asshole."

"Where are they?" Rick finally arrived at Woodbury, it has been a long day, but he didn't stop for a single second during the whole trip.
Currently, he has his hand wrapped around a guard's neck, if he didn't get an answer in the coming ten seconds, he'll crack his neck and move on.
Daryl wasn't any less gentle, his eyes were glaring at the guard like he was his prey. There is nowhere to run, if Rick didn't get him, Daryl would.
"I don't know whom you're talking about!" The guard was in denial, he kept shaking his head and attempting to back away.
"Stop lying," Rick hissed, setting his finger on the trigger. "Zip tie him." The sheriff ordered Oscar, who quickly got to action.
