We wanted to leave soon, although we didn't know when exactly.
I really liked it there. I didn't like just their garden and the town. Me and Katherine were staying practically just because of Stefan and Damon. I had always thought that in woman's heart was a place just for one and only man, however I didn't think it anymore. There was a possibility of loving two men at the same time. The Salvatore brothers complemented each other. Together they were a perfect man. I learned this in moments I had spent with Stefan. So my conclusion, "It's okay to love two men. It's okay to love both of the Salvatores."
"Have you thought anymore about what I've said?" Pearl asked me and Kat one afternoon, when we were in a greenhouse, taking care of flowers and herbs and making some ointments. Not for our use, of course, but Emily could use them. I remembered the days, when I had been making those ointments with my mother. I had loved it.
"We'll leave soon, Pearl. We promise. We need to take care of a few things first," I assured her.
"You're gonna turn both of them, aren't you?" Pearl asked us. I looked at Kat and we smiled at each other. We had a plan and we were sure it was going to work. And if it wasn't going to work, we always had a plan B.
"Elizabeth, Katherine, please. Be careful," Pearl demanded on us.
"We'll all be safe. We promise," Katherine calmed her down and looked behind her. "Mr. Gilbert's coming." I walked over to the table and leaned against it as soon as Pearl left with him. "Your mother has an admire," I smiled at Annabelle, Pearl's daughter. Annabelle was a sweet, young girl. I liked her. She was reminding me myself, when I had been in her age.

---------✨✨✨---------"As descendants of the founding family, they will wanna know if they can count on you," Giuseppe Salvatore said to his sons. He wanted and he needed them in the battle against vampires. Every hand was needed.
"Of course they can," Stefan confirmed. "Is there any doubts?"
"I'm not sure your brother Damon understands the importance of duty," Giuseppe replied. It was clear he didn't trust Damon. But perhaps if Damon hadn't left the confederacy, he would have felt different about him.
"Damon left the confederacy on principal. It was his choice. And it should be respected," Stefan tried to defend Damon. He was glad Damon was home. He had someone he could talk to.
"You'll forgive me, if I have trouble with respecting a deserter," Giuseppe said sternly. His son had disappointed him.
"I never asked for your respect," Damon replied just as sternly. He hated his father more than his greatest enemy. For him, his father was a tyrant.
Giuseppe stopped walking and stepped in front of Damon, "Good for you, Damon. Because all I have is disappointment!" Damon looked at him hatefully and didn't take his eyes of off him. Stefan just stood there for a while observing them before he spoke to distract them, "You said the town is in trouble?"
Giuseppe turned from Damon to Stefan, "There's been too many deaths. It is time for us to fight back. Stop these killers."
"Killers? What are you talking about?" Stefan played like he didn't know anything.
"We live among demons," Giuseppe informed.
"You're being cryptic now, father," Damon joined Stefan. "Why don't just say the word?" Giuseppe stepped one step closer to him. "Vampires. They exist. And they live among us. But we have a plan to kill them. And you're going to help us," he nodded to his sons and they nodded back at him. They didn't want their father to know that they knew about them. They didn't want to put Elizabeth or Katherine in danger.
