~The Next Day~

'The day is almost over and then I'll get to rest over the weekend.' I internally said to myself with a yawn escaping my lips as I blankly stared at my textbook during our study hall time.

Some student were actually doing work while others used it as a time to talk with other classmates, but there was a certain comment that made my ears perk up.

"How pathetic of her to still be chasing after him when he clearly doesn't want her," sneered a group of girls from across the room.

"I saw her trying to talk to him again yesterday."

A scowl appeared on my lips and I silently fumed at them before turning my head away from them and ignored them the rest of the time until the bell rang for lunch.

'Finally.'

"Hey," rudely said a female right beside me and when I looked up, I saw it was the same group of girls who were talking about me.

"What?"

"Leave Hamin alone." She used her hand to roughly push my head as her friends laughed at me. An irk mark appeared on my forehead as I stared at the girls before me.

"You know what I find pathetic? How you're not brave enough to do this when Hamin is around and waited until he left just now," I scoffed as I turned my attention away from her.

"Do not look down on me!" My remark angered her and without thinking, she grabbed a fistful of my hair and yanked it.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I exclaimed as I jumped out of my seat and gripped her wrists as I did my best to pry her hands off my hair.

She didn't budge a finger as she continued to pull my hair. I winced and wanted to cry out, but gritted my teeth as I took a few steps back towards the back of the classroom making her follow after me. Students huddled around and watched the scene unfold while others informed passing students of the little fight that was occurring with word quickly spreading around the school.

I let my hands slide down to her elbows and slammed her against the lockers that were on our left.

"Ow!" Her fingers released my hair and I took a few steps back as I pushed my hair back. I looked down at the girl and saw her clutching the side of her head and her bloody nose.

"Hey!" Said one of her friends right behind me and when I looked over my shoulder, she slapped me across the cheek.

I blinked and stared at the ground for a second as I processed what she had just done. I turned around to face her and raised my hand and returned the slap with an even greater force.

"Do you need one too?" I asked the other girl standing beside her as I kept my hand raised and she fearfully shook her head.

A hand grabbed my wrist and I saw a brown haired boy who always hung around Hamin.

"You didn't have to throw her so hard nor slap her."

I scoffed at his audacity as I snatched my hand away from him and sent him a harsh glare that slightly irked him.

He grabbed my arm and roughly spun me around with a hand gripping my chin so that I was facing him. "Just because you and that bastard had a fall out doesn't mean-"

He was cut off when he felt my knee collide against his stomach and he proceeded to let go of my arm and chin as he hunched over and clutched his stomach.

'I need to get out of here.' I took a step back and turned on my heel, but a hand reached out and grabbed the ends of my hair and pulled me back.

"We're not done yet," he coughed out.

"Let go," I glowered at him from the corner my eye and dug my nails into his hands.

"Not until-"

He cheek was met by a fist that knocked him over against a desk and when my eyes darted to the right, I saw Hamin standing there with faintly red knuckles.

Hamin's eyes traveled from my crazed and tangled hair to the visible mark on my cheek until they landed on my startled (e/c) eyes.

"Why?" I whispered.

He wanted to graze his fingers against my cheek and caress my disheveled hair that he only ever touched, but it wasn't something he could do anymore.

When he heard the news of the fight, he immediately sprinted back to the classroom and it angered him to the core when he saw the way I was grabbed.

He may have disappeared from my life these past few months, but this was something he would not let slide.

"What is going on in here?!" Yelled our teacher as his eyes landed on me and my classmates who were on the ground.

"She attacked us!" Protested the girl who I did not get to slap.

'I should've slapped her!'

"All of you to the office now!"
