~Months Later~

Our relationship was known by everyone at school.

Once the bell rang, Hamin and I immediately left our seats before our classmates could even turn to look at us.

We walked out into the hallway and we could hear one of our classmates yell, "Don't forget we're hanging out tomorrow Hamin!"

Hamin looked over his shoulder and gave him a smile and thumbs up. But as soon as he looked forward, he rolled his eyes and proceeded to hold my hand and lead me away.

"I really don't want to hang out with them," he muttered under his breath.

"I know you don't want to, but I know you're doing it to maintain a good image here."

"You're right, but at least you bring out the real me."

"How sweet and a bit corny," I smiled and he lightly bumped me with his arm as we were turning at a corner and I accidentally bumped into someone who dropped their books.

"Oh, I'm sorry," I quickly blurted out as we both bent down to pick up the books.

The person I bumped into was a girl with short light brown hair that matched her eyes. Her hair reached her shoulders and her bangs were almost reaching her eyes.

I handed her one of the books back and stared at her for a second which was something she noticed and averted her eyes away.

"Thank you," she timidly responded.

"You're Somang, right?" I asked and she nodded her head.

"I think I remember you now. We went to the same middle school, but you were always with someone."

"You mean Gaeul?"

"Yeah! But it was nice seeing you again." I smiled.

"You too." She awkwardly smiled and walked on ahead.

"Hamin!" I seethed as I smacked his arm which only made him laugh. "You made me bump into her and drop her things!"

"I'm sorry," he chuckled as he enveloped me in a hug. "I'll be careful from on."

~The Next Day~

Hamin had left his "friends" while I stopped by the cafeteria to get something to eat before heading to the same hallway that would lead me to the library where I would find a study room again.

On my way there, I saw Somang walking in the opposite direction and I timidly smiled and waved at her.

She pointed at herself and I nodded my head and she returned the gesture.

I stopped walking and asked, "Sorry, but do you have anything to do?"

"Um, no?"

"Do you want to hang out? I don't really have anything to do besides read at a study room," I sheepishly said.

She looked around and leaned into my ear and whispered, "Do you... want to try drawing or painting?"

"I don't mind."

A smile formed on her lips as she lead me on over to the art room where it was completely empty and filled with various art materials.

"I come here during lunch."

"Are you alone in here or do others come by?"

"Um... alone," she deadpanned with her cheeks going red from embarrassment.

"Ah, sorry I didn't know!"

"It's okay. No one knows that I come in here, except you now." She walked on over to grab an easel and some paintbrushes that she set in front of me.

"You can paint something if you'd like. I always doodle in here." She pointed at her colorful canvas that displayed a rainbow and a small girl sitting on top of some white fluffy clouds as she munched on the cloud that resembled cotton candy.

"That's not doodling," I laughed. "You're really good at art."

"Thank you."

I attempted to paint anything that came to mind and let my hand move on its own with the sun slightly warming my back.

We spoke in between and shared some laughs as we created our own art.

And truthfully, it was pretty fun.

"It feels really nice having a girl to talk to," I said to her.

"I hope... we can do this again," she muttered.

"I would like that. We'll hang out again."

Hamin who managed to slip away from his classmates went straight to the library and searched the study rooms, but there was no sight of me anywhere.

He ran his hand through his hair and heavily sighed as he wondered where else I could be.

He walked out of the library and walked through the halls that were filled with students that tried talking to him but he simply gave an excuse and left without another word.

He wandered in and out the building until the bell rang and he was feeling slightly irritated that he couldn't find me.

He walked off on his way to class as he debated how he would make me pay for making him search for me like a madman.

"Your class is right around the corner from mine. That's so cool."

Hamin whirled his head when he heard my voice coming from behind and was surprised to see me genuinely talking with a girl whom I was not putting up a front with.

Hamin was happy that I could find someone to befriend, but at the same time, he felt anxious that our time together would dwindle.
