"I'm gonna stop by the bathroom. You can go on ahead," I said to Hamin as I rushed into the empty bathroom and into the first stall that I saw.

I quietly did my business as I sang a song inside my head until I heard a crowd of girls make their way in.

"I can't believe I got to talk to Hamin," squealed a girl.

"Isn't he so dreamy?"

"Right! He's like so calm and pure. I doubt he would ever say anything bad."

'If only you knew what he was saying earlier.'

"Sometimes it's hard to talk to him since he's always with (Y/n)."

"Those two are always together. Do you think they're dating?"

"I doubt it. Hamin is like the top student here. Don't you think he would go for someone more around his level?"

"She kinda is... She ranks fifth in our year."

'I'm finally hearing something good about me. A miracle.'

"Well..." trailed off one girl before she turned to the mirror and fixed her hair. "We won't know until we ask whether they are or not. If they aren't, I'm planning to ask him out!"

'I really don't want to go out there but if I don't I'm gonna be late!' I flushed the toilet and took in a deep breath as I opened the door. The girls immediately recognized me with their mouths falling open as I washed my hands and ignored them.

They slowly turned to look at each other with hushed whispers and scoldings arising between them, but nonetheless, they cleared their throat with one of them tapping my shoulder as I dried my hands.

"Um, (Y/n)?" Nervously spoke up a brown haired girl. "Can I ask you something?"

"If Hamin and I are dating?" I questioned and she timidly nodded her head.

The bathroom went quiet with the other girls holding in their breaths and clutching on to each other's arms as they awaited my answer.

"We're not dating." I stepped away from her and walked past the group of girls as I left the bathroom but I could faintly hear them let out sigh of relief right outside the door.

I shook my head and turned down the hall where I saw Hamin leaning against the wall with his phone in his hand.

"What took you so long? Did you get locked in or what?" He asked as he placed his phone inside his pocket.

"No!" I retorted. "The girls in there just wanted to ask me something."

"Like what?"

"They wanted to know if we were dating. Oh and just to warn you, one of them is gonna try to ask you out."

"And what did you say?" He eyed me from the corner of his eye as we stepped inside the classroom.

"That we're not?" I obviously stated.

Our classmates swarmed Hamin while I glanced at Hamin one for time before making my way to my seat.

"Your hair looks really nice today," said a dark brown haired student who often hung around Hamin.

'He's trying to woo me with a compliment this time before asking for a favor.'

"Thank you," I forced a smile before turning my head away.

"It looks soft too." He reached his hand out and attempted touch a strand of hair that rested on my shoulder, but a hand blocked him from laying a finger on me.

"It's rude to touch someone without their permission," said Hamin as he directly stared into his eyes with a slight coldness surfacing.

"R-Right, sorry," he apologized as he turned on his heel with his fists shaking in humiliation as all eyes were on him.

"Hey Hamin, do you want to hang out with everyone this weekend?" Said another guy who slung his arm around Hamin.

"Oh, sorry. I actually have plans."

"Don't tell me you have plans with her," he pointed a finger at me.

"Yes."

"Are you two dating or what?" He scoffed.

"We might if we says yes on our date tomorrow," he calmly responded as he gave me a soft smile before he discreetly placed his hand on mine and rubbed his thumb against my hand.

"What?!" Erupted our classmates although it was mainly the girls.

I covered my face with my hand and turned my head away from everyone as I could feel my face heating up.

Hamin's back towered over me next to my desk and I didn't budge my hand as I let him continue to hold my hand.

"In your seats everyone!" Walked in the teacher making everyone scurry to their seats.

Throughout class, I couldn't help but look over at Hamin who was seated up front.

My lips twitched for a second at the stunt he pulled earlier, but regardless of that, I couldn't stop the small smile from forming on my lips and neither could he as he looked forward to tomorrow.
