~A Month Later~

"It feels so nice to take a break from our college entrance exams. My brain is fried from all that studying," I sighed as I walked out of a cafe with Somang.

"And we'll be graduating in a few months! I'm excited but nervous too," replied Somang.

"We have to take a picture after the ceremony," I said to her with a large smile on my face.

But speaking of graduation, my mind began to wander off to Hamin and his future. I had envisioned us staying together until the end, but I shook it off and didn't let myself ponder over him right now.

"I hope we can still hang out like this even if we're at different universities."

"We will. I promise," I assured her.

As we were walking down the road, I felt someone lightly tap my back and when I looked over my shoulder, I saw someone who I have not seen for quite some time.

"Jaemin!"

"(Y/n)! I knew it was you!" He cheerfully exclaimed with a grin on his face before throwing his arms around my waist. "I missed you."

It saddened me that someone, that someone being me, who was constantly in this little boy's life gradually disappeared without a word. I'm sure he must have questions about he never sees me.

"Why don't you come over anymore? Nobody tells me anything," he pouted.

"I'm sorry about that. Things changed between your older brother and I."

"But...you can still come! Or I can!"

"How about this... how about we get ice cream today and on other days, I'll keep taking places you want to go to?"

"Really?!" His face lit up as he gazed up at me with an adorable smile on his lips that reached his ears.

"Yes," I laughed. "We can go with my friend Somang."

"Okay!" He grabbed my hand and happily walked beside me as we went to buy him his favorite ice cream.

We were in and out of the ice cream shop within a few minutes as we walked Jaemin back home who had a bounce in his step as he delightfully savored the ice cream in his hand.

"He's so cute," I whispered to Somang and when she peered over to look at him, there was a blotch of ice cream on the corner of his lips and she couldn't help but lightly giggle.

I felt a light splash on my forehead and I gazed up at the dark clouds that loomed over us. I held my hand out with a single raindrop hitting the palm of my hand before multiple raindrops started to quickly crash down from the sky.

"Let's get you inside, Jaemin."

He nodded his head and he started jogging towards the main entrance of the building.

My eyes wandered across the sky and I caught sight of a figure on top of the apartment complex and my eyes slowly widened and my skin grew cold when I recognized the sandy brown hair that I have grown accustomed to seeing all my life.

"H-Hamin," I shakily breathed out.

"Hm?" Somang turned to me and gazed up with her hand over her eyes to avoid the raindrops hitting her eyes and saw a silhouette.

"Hamin!" I shakily yelled at the top of my lungs but my voice was drowned out by the sudden rain pour.

I sprinted inside the building and ran past a confused Jaemin with Somang coming in to stay with him.
