When she looked in the mirror
The girl she saw
Was little miss perfect
All dolled up
She saw good grades
She saw good friends
She saw everything she wasn't.
The girl in the mirror,
She thought they we one and the same
So she started acting prideful
Like she had it all.
The girl in the world
Wasn't like the mirror girl at all
But she convinced herself she was.
This poem is about a girl who is struggling but is a little... Egotistical. She sees herself as the best there is when she is definitely not. You could say she's just acting confident, but the girl this poem is based on is definitely just arrogant. Sometimes it's important to look in the mirror and see your faults that way you can reflect and change.
(There's a reason why I don't say her name IYKYK)
